March of 2001

This was another perfect day for a cruise! There were 300 plus cars that showed up tonight, to participate in this 14 year plus event. There was a "George Barris" Custom also here tonight.

"Born from a '55 Chevy" this car was very unique and has a rich history on the "Show Car Circuit".

I had the privilege of meeting Pete Stafford. Director of Sales, of US Auto of Bedford, England. He is currently restoring a '60 Falcon Sedan over there. His company is responsible for getting parts and supplies overseas to help the American Car collectors over there. There are several clubs that "Cruise" the "American Dreams" over there. We hope to be including some photos and stories about events in the U.K. on the www.sbcno.com site.

See you at the 5th Annual Veterans Day Celebration car show at the Citrus Tower in Clermont, on Sunday. Then Wednesday and Thursday Nites! [photos are up]
