Old Town Shopping Attraction.

The last Friday Night Cruise of February, a beautiful cool night for the 161 beautiful cruisers to parade the streets of Old Town. We were glad to welcome Sue back after her knee surgery. Lee was on hand to welcome us in at 5 O'clock. He is doing a great job. We were followed in by Buzz and Sue, Stan and Maryann, Dave and the rest of the early birds. We were entertained on stage at 4 O'clock by the Brookstone High School Band from Columbus, Georgia. Their bandleader was a former high school teacher in Clermont. After we dined with Dave at A & W we headed out to talk to some cruisers.

Chris Mohler from Orlando, just acquired this lovely 1975 Pontiac Firebird Formula 350. It is snow flake white and has very unique Winter Snow White seats. He is the second owner of this of this adorable cruiser. He also has a 1981 Pontiac Trans AM Pace car. Daytona 500.

We only had 2 cruisers on block 4. This is the last night for cruiser of the month, Tony Baugh and the other Loosers to lead the cruise  down the brick street of Old-Town. Joe Ness was back after a week off but left early. Ken Keel was out visiting but not cruising. It was good to see Ward and Marilyn back. She was under the weather last week, but seems to be doing well now. We missed Bob Butler the last 2 weeks, we were worried that he might be sick again but he was just vacationing on the Keys and catching a lot of fish. We are glad he is back. We want to thank him for bringing the cruise papers and also Bert when he brings them.

Dennis who cruises his one owner Monte Carlo had his Mom with him tonight. Her and her husband are down from Wisconsin to get out of the cold weather. Debbie was back from Pa. and the snow. Allan was back at the stage after a 2 week absence. Good job Allan. The Chrysler gang was in their favorite spot and all was well for our Friday Night Cruise.

Our 50/50 was $37.00 and went home with Laverne. They got lucky tonight and also won a flag.

A 2 night stay at a resort behind Old-Town was won by cruiser 736. These are great prizes and thanks to these resorts. Joe pulled 6 numbers for the Cruise-O-Matic and the $650.00 was won by cruiser 4568.

Thanks to Old Town and our great staff for another wonderful and safe cruise. See you all next week.
