"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

More than 110 cars made it to the event tonight, Thanks in part to it being "Corvette Thursday". The last Cruise-In of the month always has a bunch of the "Mid-Florida Corvette Club" members in attendance.

When we arrived just past 4:00 Mike already had the DJ rig in place. Dick came out early in his '65 Mustang 2+2, Bob then parked his SSR in his favorite spot. We watched in amazement as Nicky "Bop" took only 4 tries to get his '32 Ford parked.  Ron A backed his '61 Caddy into a spot next to the '32 Ford.
Then I spotted the "Black Beauty" with Tony & Marianne in it. Back to the Cruise in less than 6 Weeks after his by-pass surgery. Now that's a Cruiser. Good to see them. Then "Cousin John" in his Caddy, Paul in his "Toy Truck", John in his 6 Wheeler. Then Jean in her '36 Ford parked under the big tree. Coy was out as usual, Greg then parked his '85 Camaro next to us. The area to the North was filling up fast, John in his '57 Chevy, Don M in his Corvair, Jeff was riding along with him. Russ had his '57 Ford F100 for the first time in a while. Don R backed his '68 Mustang Fastback in to a spot up from the DJ Rig. Bill parked his Blazer across from Paul. Dick & Gert rolled their chop topped '36 Ford humpback into the lot followed by John & Sandy with a full vintage Dodge. Dave was out in his Avanti shortly afterwards, Jo Ellen and Jed would join in later. Bob had his only Cruiser out, his favorite the '71 Camaro Z-28, he said good bye to the Chevelle this afternoon. Nick had his '32 Ford next to it. Fran brought out the Camaro. John R, back in the States for a few months was in his Mustang convertible, Jennifer would join in later. Mike had his '69 Mustang just where he likes it. Wax was out for a while in his Nova, The Corvette Coral was filling up nicely, Ed & Sherry had their 'Vette lined up with them. John C brought out his '62 F-85, his son visiting from PA drove out the Jeepster, Shirley and the rest of the family would stop out a little later. "Bo" had his '70 Monte next to the Mustang. John B was out with family, he had his 'Vette parked at the Sonic, old habits die hard. Tom brought out the Greenbrier, Ed & Sarah had their "Shortbox" Chevy pickup out as well. The "Wookie" would park his Buick on the other side of us. Gary & Wanda had the "Remember When" that great '55 Chevy parked along the front row. Bob N was out sans his '36 Ford. Dane drove Suzanne's Mustang to the Cruise, "Doc" was in the "Tater Truck". "Big George" and "Little George" were out in the Olds. "Big Jim" and Norma were our in their '57 Chevy. Neil & Elaine were out in the Triumph, back in town from the UK for a week now. Bert & "Ernie" were out in the '66 Comet. Steve was in his '77 deVille. Phillip & Louie were in daily drivers, Dennis & Francine regular spectators were with us as well as Pat & Alan. Allan from Old Town stopped out to see us all, he is going to try to start bringing the Old Town '57 Chevy to a Thursday night.

Whew, what a night. Steve & Cheryl Mac were out in the daily driver and spent some time with all of us. I better not forget Dana, "Scary Larry", Hank, "Cousin Vinney', Roy Fitz Jr. & Stella and I know I missed many, sorry but that is all I can remember. We knew it was nearing time for the drawings, George showed up in his '61 Falcon.

The 50/50 grew to $118, Renee Adamson did our shopping, Thank You. Jean Leonardy, Cruiser #109 had the winning ticket for the 50/50. The "Cruise-A-Matic" rolls up to $125 next week, Cruiser # 629, Roger Luczak wasn't out tonight.

Nick Cortese, Cruiser #414 was awarded his Plaque and T-Shirt, provided by Renee, for his January "Cruiser of the Month".

"Cruiser of the Week" went to Tony & Marianne DeGennaro, Cruiser #150, he made it back to us in the "Black Beauty" their '71 Monte Carlo SS.

Here are a few photos.
