"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

It looked like it was going to be an OK day, the weatherman said that we might get a little rain. So we headed out to the Sonic. Bill, N2WFU and the boys along with his friend George were in the old Radio Car on their way to the Cruise-In at the same time we were. "Mustang Mike" pulled into the parking lot just after 4:30. Larry would then bring out his '64 Galaxie. Bill  E. would be in his '55 Chevy, parked along 13th street, Bob arrived in is SSR and Ron A would bring out his '61 Caddy just before Paul arrived in his Ram. Graham, G4HFG from Oldham, England would check in over the radio. Don, KC9DFK from Chicago also connected up to say hello to all the Cruisers. He had visited with us over the Christmas season. Brian stopped by in his company car to pickup his newsletter. "Scary Larry" came over in his daily driver to take George to see his Mustang that was at home. George was looking for one, the result is that it was just too much car. Anyway, the rains started and stopped then started. Paul left, Larry left, Mike called the Cruise-In at 5:30. Linda & I sat around for about a half hour and took a lot of calls to see if it was canceling or not. Laura, KI4ZJX was on her way from Lakeland and was disappointed that we didn't Cruise. So were we.

The "Cruise-A-Matic" remains at $100 and no "Cruiser of the Week" was chosen. Unfortunately we do get Rained Out from time to time.

Tony, K4AVD called in from Wisconsin over the radio to join us but we were already on our way home. Anyway, he tried to be with us.

We'll try it again next week.

Here are a few photos.
