"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

The first nice weather Thursday of the year. We should have a few more snowbirds in the mix tonight. Scott & Cindi would be out in a "ScottRod" Russ would have his "Wild Thing" parked next to him. Don M would be out in his red Corvair convertible sporting Wire Wheel covers. Ed & Sarah would be in their '70 Chevy "Short Box". Ed & Evelyn in her '64 Corvair coupe. Craig & Mary would even stop out for a while. Dennis & Francine were in the front row as regular spectators as were Allan & Patty, he would later do the prize shopping. Lisa & Quintino would join Brian who brought out his Chevelle. Danny was visiting with Larry that was out in his '64 Galaxie. Ken, our used car lot guy, went in for back surgery today, Shirley had gotten word that he was in recovery doing well. Word on Tony da Pony was that he is also recovering well, Phillip spotted then at Costco the other day. Gary & Wanda would park their "Remember When" '55 Chevy in Ken's spot next to us. Steve would have his '77 deVille on the other side. Charlie & Marie would be with him, Steve has added even more OEM parts to that car and has most of the interior "Brand New". John, newly registered cruiser brought out his '57 Chevy for the first time to this event. Rich parked nearby in his "Banana" that radical '83 "Roadster" pickup. Dan Z was in the front row with his Willys, Jeff in his Edsel, with Fido & Bella, Ron S was in his '37 Ford roadster. Greg, was one of the first to arrive in his Camaro. John & Jonathan were in the '68 Camaro SS convertible.

Mike would have his Hot Rod out, John & Sandi in the old Dodge, Dick & Gert in the vintage Ford. Big George & Little George would have the Olds across from us. John in his 6 Wheeler. Dana would come out to pester us, Roy who brought out his '64 Galaxie 500 XL would be setting on the corner with Ron A, Don R, that had his '68 Mustang Fastback behind the trailer and Dick who was out in his white 2+2 Mustang. Francine had the Camaro parked behind that boy's club. Larry was out in the Candy Apple Red '49 Ford with his brother from Indiana. Jim had the '63 F-85 Olds parked up from it. "Bo" and his brother-in-law were parked next to the '71 Ford Fairlane 500 that I was trying to talk Roy out of. Fred from Michigan was out again tonight as were the "Mustang Twins", Paul & Betty, still in town. Paul later cleaned up in the prize drawings. Yes, Graham. G4HFG from Oldham, England checked in over the radio and wanted to make sure I said Hello to everyone and he wished he was Cruising live with us. "Scary Larry" arrived a little later and parked his Mustang behind the trailer. Bob N was assisting with the Tickets, his '36 Ford is still off the road. Paul was out in his Pickup, sure hope he gets that DeSoto back out, I think he is just having too much fun with the truck. Al was out in his beloved Model A. Pablo & Nilda had their VW parked next to "Cousin John's" Caddy, who had to park next to "Lucky Louie's" '52 Ford. We even had a late arrival in a yellow '57 Chevy that parked the the wrong way, he is from Wisconsin. Maybe we'll see him back next week. Richard & Sally were out to give Dick a hard time. Randy had his '66 F100 parked in a spot vacated by Bert & Ernie, they just stopped for a bit tonight. The Comet is in the shop. Roger F, in his '56 Chevy and Larry V in his Ford were out. Barbara came a little later. "Cousin Vinney" was also zooming around the lot on his power chair. "Cletus" the '30 Chevy was out with Tony at the wheel, I think I saw Marlene but that could have been my imagination. Stephen, out in his 'Vette was spotted with Nick.

It was a great night with good friends, as usual. During the closing, we finally has the "Cruiser of the Month" plaque, I called him up and awarded it.

The 50/50 had made it up to $113, Larry Robinson, Cruiser #583, had the winning ticket. He gave back a generous donation to next week, Thank You.

The "Cruise-A-Matic" would have gone home with #479, Fritz  Terpee, but he wasn't out tonight. So next week we have $100 in the offering.

"Cruiser of the Week" went to Cruiser #749, Hank Horn and his '75 VW Baja Bug.

I Know I had to have left a few of those in attendance out of the report but it was one of those great, busy and fun nights.

On to the Photos

Congratulations to the Winners and Thank You to all that came out.
See you all "Out There"
