"Duke" Davis' Wednesday Nite Cruise-In
Brought to you by Saint Cloud "Bites"
at "Magnolia Square"

East Highway 192
Saint Cloud, Florida
In Memory of C. "Duke" Davis

When Linda  I arrived around 4:15, Greg was already there with his Camaro, we have been seeing him out a little more often as of late. Chris had the cones in place for the DJ rig, it was sunny and breezy, there had been a few rouge showers earlier in  the day that dropped a bit of rain in the area but now it looked as though tonight would be a great one. Larry arrived in his latest pickup, the Galaxie 500 was on it's way to Liverpool, England. Paul backed his "Toy Truck" in to his favorite spot. "Cousin John" backed his Caddy into a spot behind the DJ trailer that Mike had just maneuvered into it's area.

Dick arrived in his 2+2 Mustang, Bill in his Blazer, Jeff was out in his '04 Mazda, the Edsel is in the paint shop. Louie was out in his daily driver. Ron A parked his Caddy in it's place of honor. Pat & Alan joined us at the table just before Nick rolled his '32 Ford in to the "Square". There was a truck from Fred Auction loading things from the newly vacated store front. Bill then arrived in his '63 Parisienne. Ron H parked my favorite '53 Chevy across from it. Brandon was out in one of his Mopars. Harry was in his daily driver, Andy then backed his deVille in the front row. The "Wookie" backed the "Heartbreaker" in next to it. Roy backed the "64 Galaxie 500XL next to him. Judi would join him later for a bite to eat. Kevin, KJ4AYR came out to join us at the table and to look at the cars. Graham, G4HFG from Oldham, England checked in. Tony, K4AVD, our Tour Director Emeritus,  called in on the radio to say that he was snowed in. More than 19" of snow fell to the south of him in Wisconsin. Steve & Charlie arrived in the '77 deVille. Then George & Mary in the '72 Monte Carlo backed into a spot by Robertson Homes. Al then brought his '30 Model A into the "Square". Also in attendance were Dave in his '63 Avanti joined later by Jo Ellen and Morgan. "Big Jim" with his '57 Chevy. Marc, Willie and their 2 Children from Holland, who are American car fans that are on vacation, were on their way back from the coast, she spotted "Big Jim's" '57 Chevy and pulled off to get a bite to eat. They would spend the rest of the evening with us. Yes, "Scary Larry" was with us. Larry from Canada joined us the first time this season in "ITZA40" his '40 Ford Coupe. Bert & "Ernie" were out in their '66 Mercury and Mitchell, their ward for the evening was with them

If everyone that came out tonight, would have been in their Cruisers we would have had over 30 cars. George would arrive right at 7:00. Randy who was out in his '66 Ford pickup was actually the last to arrive.
Tonight's 50/50 was $69. Charlie had the winning ticket, the then gave $10 back for an instant drawing and Bill Ashe won that $10.

The "Cruise-A-Matic" rolls up to $30 next week, Ron Simmons, Cruiser #99 wasn't out tonight.

"Cruiser of the Week" went to George & Mary Sanderson, Cruiser #75 and their '72 Monte Carlo.

Thank You to the Robertson Family, Chris our host, for having us out, to the "Bites" staff for taking good care of us.

On to a few photos.

Congratulations to the winners! Thank you all for coming out.
See you all "Out There"
