"Duke" Davis' Wednesday Nite Cruise-In
Brought to you by Saint Cloud "Bites"
at "Magnolia Square"

East Highway 192
Saint Cloud, Florida
In Memory of C. "Duke" Davis

When Linda & I arrived at 4:10 Jack already had his '29 Model A Sport coupe parked in his favorite spot. Brian was next to arrive in his '66 Chevelle, Quintino was going to bed early and thought it would be OK if he brought out the car.  Paul was next to arrive in his "Toy Truck" , "Big John" was out in the GT350 convertible. "Cousin John" backed his '72 deVille in to his favorite spot. "Mustang Mike" arrived and set up just after that. Larry was next to set up with his '72 Chevy pickup. Don M brought out his Corvair with it's new engine in it, 9 miles on it so far. Bill wheeled his '63 Parisienne into the lot followed by Bill K in his '81 Blazer. Louie backed his '52 Ford into a spot next to Don's Corvair. Dave brought his '48 Anglia out tonight. Then Larry arrived in his '40 Ford, he'll be with us a few more weeks before going back to Canada. Lenn backed his '60 Ford Panel truck into a spot across from Dave. Ron A parked his '61 Caddy next to "Cousin John". "Scary Larry" arrived in his Mustang about the time KM4FSU, Kevin came out to join us. Don R backed his '68 Mustang Fastback into a spot behind the trailer. Graham, G4HFG, from Oldham England checked in over the radio to see what was going on. Ron H brought out his Model A, Jonna, his Niece rode with him, his mother Mary and sister Shirley came out in the daily driver, good to see them out on a Wednesday. Patty & Allan joined us as they have been in the past few weeks, always glad to see them. George & Mary were out in their '72 Monte Carlo. Even Bob M brought out his '40 Buick.

Steve & Charley would be out in the '77 deVille, Al would come out a little later, we all looked at the Full Moon in anticipation of the Eclipse tonight but it wasn't going to happen until after the Cruise-In. I just now, 10:00PM took time to view it. Awesome. Anyway back to the story. Just before 7:00 Al arrived in his Model A and about 15 minutes later George would arrive in his "Heirloom Falcon". Today would be a day to remember, the Space Shuttle Atlantis had a picture perfect landing in Florida after a 13 day mission, Linda & I spent our 6th anniversary with our friends and Cruising Family, our grandson, Conner, in Colorado celebrated his 4th Birthday and T Rod, formerly KI4GJS got his new call, KT4ROD. Jim, W9QC stopped by for a visit with all of us for a while.

Thank You to the Robertson Family, Chris our host, for having us out, to the "Bites" staff for taking good care of us.

Charley Clarke had the winning ticket for the $42 50/50, he donated $10 back to next week, Thank You!

Cruiser #8, Bob Berube, wasn't out in his '71 Z-28 tonight so the "Cruise-A-Matic" rolls up to $40 next week.

"Cruiser of the Week" went home in Quintino's '66 Chevelle with Cruiser # 188 Brian Rader.

On to a few photos.

Thank you to those that came out.
See you all "Out There"
