"Duke" Davis' Wednesday Nite Cruise-In
Brought to you by Saint Cloud "Bites"
at "Magnolia Square"

East Highway 192
Saint Cloud, Florida
In Memory of C. "Duke" Davis

Talk about "Chamber of Commerce" weather! Linda & I were running a little later than normal, we didn't get done with work until nearly 4:00 so by the time we got to the "Square" Jack was already there with "Old Yeller" his '29 Ford, he had just driven it to Melbourne this afternoon and it ran great and with the new tires he ran it at "Road Speeds". Paul was out in his Pickup, Larry arrived a little while after that in his '63 Galaxie 500. Ron backed his '61 Caddy in behind the DJ rig that was now in place. Don M brought his '64 Corvair to a Wednesday for the first time. Jeff arrived in his '59 Edsel and Dan was out in the Willys. "Cousin John: had his deVille next to the patio. Don R backed his '68 Mustang Fastback next to Ron A. Bob & Nick arrived in the Chevelle and '32 Ford Coupe. About that time Graham, G4HFG from Oldham England checked in over the Radio to see who was out at the Cruise-In as well as get any information on that 70 car pile up on I-4 this morning.

Ron H. rolled his Model A into the lot and parked next to Jack's. Roy backed his '64 Galaxie 500XL convertible into a spot along the front row. Fred, from Michigan was out tonight, he'll be in town for a few weeks. He even brought along photos of his cars. Kevin, KJ4AYR a new Ham and now Cruise spectator came out to see what it was all about, welcome! "Scary Larry" was out in his Mustang. Tony stopped by in "Cletus" his '29 Chevy, just for a few minutes, he had just got him running again and Marlene has been reworking the interior. Andy arrived in his '79 deVille, followed by Steve & Charlie in the '77 deVille. Jerry & Cindy were out in the daily driver, the Stude is still under repair. Then the "Wookie" piloted his Flamed out Buick into the parking lot. T Rod, KI4GJS was taking his view of the cars as was Kevin mingling and talking with the Cruisers. The "Mustang Twins" Paul & Betty were in town and stopping out to see us was on the top of their list. Mark R stopped out on his 2 wheeler. Alan & Patty stopped to visit, Allan, from Old Town also stopped by to see us all, the mudslides didn't get him in California last week. Last but not least, George rolled his heirloom '61 Falcon into the "Square".

The 50/50 was $50, "Lucky Louie" Piazza, Cruiser #9, had the winning ticket. Cruiser #178 Dave Meal wasn't out tonight so next week the "Cruise-A-Matic" rolls up to $50.

"Cruiser of the Week" went home in a '30 Model A with Al Wendling, Cruiser #89.
