Linda & I don't get the opportunity to get out to this one on a regular
basis. We arrived
before "Mustang Mike" made it to the Cruise-In, "Scary Larry "
was next in his Mustang, just after Mike parked the DJ rig followed by
Paul in the Dodge Pickup Bert & Ernie were next to arrive in the '66
Comet wagon, they were watching over the little neighbor, Mitchell, his
Grandmother was still in the emergency room. Ron & Nancy B were in the
Corvair convertible. George was out in his heirloom
Falcon, Dana was out to harass us
all. Roy parked his '64 Galaxie convertible next to Ron A in his '61
Caddy. Dick was out in his 2+2 Mustang, Steve & Charlie brought out the
'77 deVille. Larry was out in his '64 Galaxie, Danny stopped out to
visit with us. Coy also stopped out to spend the Cruise with us and have
a meal.
Most everyone dinned on the great buffet and settled down outside for a
regular night of "Car Talk" and other visiting. The 50/50 was $30,
not bad for 10 cars, and because the prizes were donated tonight Mike
gave away both halfs.
Dick had the winning number for
the first $30. Of course the crowd declared in unison, RIGGED! George
had the winning ticket for the other half and donated $5 to the
newsletter, Thank You.
A great night was had
by all and Rick made sure to personally thank all that came to the
event.
