Sunday morning in Clermont dawned cooler and clearer than I've seen it in a long time. Just a perfect day for a car show to honor our Veterans at the Citrus Tower in Nearby Clermont, here is a sample of the vehicles that made it out to this event today. It was a great show as usual.

The perfect car to start this is a 1942 Packard. There were very few of these, or any 1942 cars, made because of W.W.II.

This Rambler wagon is as clean as my dinner plate after I'm finished.

The little sign in front of this car says, "this is not a kit car." I say it is a cool car.

This Maverick has more tricks than Houdini.

This little MGB is ready for a road trip.

Jennifer Johnston of WJBJ was doing double and triple duty today.

No car show is complete without a pink and white Chrysler.

This "rat rod" style VW is one of my favorites.

Henry the VIII chugged on over.

Gas, Tires, & Oil or Girls Take Over. Call them what you want. But the new style GTO's are Supercars.

This 48 Ford panel van is just starting out. I can't wait till next year to see the transformation.

This is a fine looking pastel Plymouth.

Digital camera lag kept me from getting all 4 planes in the fly over.

Dan's little flamed roadster is one sweet ride.

John owns this 36 Ford and the Chevy in the next PIC.

Corvettes showed up too. And these were two of the nicest.

The Lake County Sheriff had the assault vehicle there just in case.

Old trucks are cool.

Hey Dude.......it's a HEMI !!!

A 54 Mercury pickup is something you don't see everyday.

Butch and WJBJ kept the Oldies going all day long

"Square 'Birds" 58 59 & 60 make real nice crusiers.

I had a Gremlin X a long time ago. And it wasn't as nice then as this one is now.

I have no idea what it is. I tried looking at the dash to get a clue. But it's made of wood too. As is most of this car.....ah boat.....ah whatever. The motor box in the back doesn't have a motor under it. But the headers are bolted to the wooden deck.

Clermont Dodge, one of the sponsors, had their 60 Dodge Cop Car there. It has an RB Dodge motor with a cross ram induction system. If all the cops had them back then we would have been in real trouble.

OK believe it or not, it's got over 410,000 miles and has not been redone.

Ford sedan with a chopped top. I think the w/w on the front tire means it should be a wide/whitewall. Like the rear time.

Be safe and I'll see you out there.
