We brought our S 10 out on this beautiful December day. Buzz and Sue,
Stan, Tom, Pablo and Nilda and Dave and the rest of the early birds
lined up behind us. Don and Jackie had their beautiful Maroon Cadillac
Convertible with the top down while the North battles with snow. That is
why we reside in Florida. Tonight is Old Town's Annual Toy Cruise for
Dec. All cruisers are asked to bring an unwrapped toy or money donation
which will benefit the children of Osceola County and will be
distributed by the Council on Aging. We know it was a great success and
we thank all the cruisers for participating and being so generous.
Channel 13 was out tonight interviewing people for a special they are
filming for Bright House. They took many pictures of the cruisers. This
will only be on digital channel 300.
George Pennachi is our cruiser of the month for December. He has a 2005
GMC Yukon, sure looks good in that honored spot George. He also likes to
decorate his cruiser for any holiday that happens to come along.
Pablo had some more decals put on his Friday Night Cruiser by Tags With
Class. They do quite a good bit of work for us cruisers and they do a
good job. Thanks for being there when we need you.
Ralph and Shirley were out today and Ralph was sporting a brand new
wheel chair. They are both doing fine and looking well. We enjoy having
them with us. Bob, who delivers our papers, was looking a lot like Santa
with his Santa hat and neat tee shirt. We are glad to have Dave and Bev
back from MA but Bev has to return to be with her parents. She will be
back in January. Bronco and Doug were out, Loosers were in their regular
spaces. Todd was out but Julie stayed home, Debbie and James were out
but Tim had to work. Ward and Marilyn were with us tonight and today was
Marilyn's birthday. Congratulations and hope you have many more. All was
well with our Friday Night family of cruisers. Joe Ness could not make
it tonight, his Ranger had some transmission problems. We hope to see
him next week. Thanks again to Old Town and our great staff for their
dedication to the cruise. Two flag winners did not show and Allan
graciously gave the oil to cruisers 214 and 249, by drawing their
numbers.
We had 145 registered cruisers to cruise the brick street tonight. We
had another bonus tonight, another 2 night stay at a fabulous resort
which was won by cruiser 251. Our 50/50 was $22.00 and went home with
Ken.
Our cruise-O-Matic was $350.00. Allan had 4 numbers drawn but no
winners.
P.S.------We missed Joe tonight-----couldn't find him------- maybe he
was
hanging out with Santa Claus?
