We had a beautiful night for our Christmas Cruise and a 145 registered
cruisers came out to show their beautiful cruisers. We came down a
little bit early but Buzz and Sue were already there. We can always find
something to
do or someone to talk to. Ralph and Shirley met us there. Paul Harrold
was out with his 87 Grand National. This black beauty is always garage
kept and covered. Jeff Rayside was back, after a long absence, with his
Pearl White 1984 Cadillac. He and Don were comparing their cruisers.
They are the same year. Ward Faust was tired tonight after playing Santa
Claus at the school where his wife works. Jon and Angie made it out with
their Pontiac. They found their favorite spot on block 4 but Bobby with
his Cougar got stuck on block 2. Debbie and James also found their spot
on block 4.
It is good to see them out. They were at a show in Lakeland last week
and both came home with a trophy. Doug also had his El Camino out to
cruise tonight. Our friend Ken Keel was out visiting but did not cruise.
Bob was out after missing a week. He was in the hospital with a blood
clot. Sue Evans was also limping around, she has a knee cap out of
place. Get well you two. Joe Ness was out visiting and is still
recuperating. Good luck to all three of you. We also want to thank Andy
for delivering our news letters.
We want to thank Old-Town for treating us with Coffee, hot chocolate and
very good Christmas Cookies. Tracy was there, with her beautiful smile,
handing out this Christmas cheer. We heard she baked them all herself
but we
wondered about that????
Some of the cruisers had their vehicles decorated for the Christmas
Season. We also saw Santa Claus riding in one of the Losers Corvettes,
again we could not locate Joe??????? With the snow falling, all the
Christmas decorations and the Cruisers exchanging presents and cards
made for another great Christmas Cruise. Never forget the real reason we
have Christmas. Allan has been getting us some great give aways to
win. Tonight we had two rounds of golf with cart, which went to cruiser
790 and also two more rounds to cruiser 702. No. 733 won a 2 nights stay
at a favorite resort. So come on out and try your luck and show your
beautiful cruiser. We want to thank Old Town and our great staff and we
wish them all a very Merry Christmas. Nikki did a great job announcing
on stage tonight. She also looked good in her Santa outfit. Thanks
Nikki.
Our 50/50 was $30.00 and went to Anna from Kissimmee. The Cruise-O-Matic
goes to $425.00 next week. After 7 tries, they could not give it away.
Gary also did a good job talking to the flag winners
_______ Bill & Doris.
