You could tell it was a holiday weekend when we arrived at Old Town
because there were plenty of tourist on the streets. Buzz and Sue were
already there. We missed them last week. They were really sick with the
flu.
Tom Coupe was back from a Pa. vacation. His wife Sue and the sweet
little dog were out visiting along with Tom's sister. Sue is recovering
from a bad fall and we hope she heals soon.
By 5 o'clock we had a full line of cruisers and we were glad to see a
few new one's among them. As we entered the streets of Old-Town we could
see they are getting the Christmas lights up and they are looking great.
The Christmas tree in the center of town is beautiful this year. Thanks
to Old Town for sharing this blessed event with us.
We had our evening meal at the Steak House with some of our friends.
There are several good restaurants at Old-Town. We tried the Jam Rock
Restaurant, which is next to Flippers, and found the food tasty and
plenty of it, and a friendly atmosphere. Keep this in mind when your
looking for a place to dine.
Block 4 was filled up tonight and Bob had his 1974 MSB/GT out again. He
also forgot to bring his jacket. It was a little chilly. A new Friday
Night Cruiser, Ted Wojcicki came out to show his 2006 Red Nissan. He
also had his lovely wife Gina and beautiful daughter Mary with him. A
few of his ham radio buddies, Steve, Linda, T Rod and John came out to
initiate him . We welcome these cruisers to our family here at Old Town.
Pablo and Nilda Martinez, regular Saturday Night Cruiser, will be
joining us on Friday Night with their 1996 green Ford Taurus. Welcome.
Tim and Debbie and son James were spotted tonight. Tim usually has to
work on Friday but made it tonight. Andy and Ed were at the end of the
line on block one. Andy got lucky tonight and won a flag. Trophy row was
filled up with many new vehicles. We had a very pleasant Thanksgiving
week cruise with 148 beautiful cruisers that registered. Many thanks to
Old Town, our great staff and all our loyal sponsors.
Our 50/50 tonight was $57.00 and Anna from Kissimmee won it. The
Cruise-O-Matic will be $325.00 next week. Joe could not give it away
tonight.
See you all next week!
