The Friday Nite Cruise
Old Town Shopping Attraction.

November 16th

It feels like winter has arrived in central Florida, that is for us locals. The visitors think it is just fine. We arrived a little early but had to wait awhile for Stan, Dave and Don and Jackie. We can always find something to do at Old Town. Dave and Bev are leaving for Ma. on Monday and will be gone for a couple of weeks. We will miss them and we hope they have a safe trip.

Richard, Becky and Doug were out visiting with the cruisers tonight. It is always good to see them. We were sorry to learn that Doug had wrecked his truck. We were glad that he wasn't hurt and that it wasn't his fault. The Poinciana Kid was out to cruise tonight. It was good to see him back after his accident.
Our friends Juan and Leidis were back again before they head home next week. Jody had to park at the end of block one because she was late getting here. Pep and Nancy, two good friends of ours and regulars at Old Town has made us a CD of at least 3 years of pictures and music of Old-Town. It is very well done and brings back many good memories of friends that we cruise and fellowship with. We are very proud of this and thank them for being so kind. We are proud of all our cruising friends and great staff. They are all like family and willing to help whenever they can.

We met a first time cruiser with a beautiful brown 450 SL 1980 Mercedes convertible. Jose Formorso and wife Luz has had this cruiser about 5 years and bought it from the original owner. He has redone it and actually sent it to Germany to get the interior finished, so it would be original. Jose is legally blind and he is in the Business Enterprise Program. This program does a lot of good for the blind and gives them the opportunity to run a business. We hope they become a regular member of our cruising family. Again we ask all our cruisers to simply comply with the rules of our Friday Night Cruise. Allan and our staff are doing a great job but they need the help of all of us.

Ward Faust was back with his great looking 1994 Nissan Truck. He has become a regular and we are very glad to see them each week.  We want to congratulate Micha, one of our staff who is doing a good job, on her sweet sixteenth birthday. We are all glad to have you with us Micha and look forward to seeing your smiling face every week. We love you and keep smiling.

Our 50/50 was $20.00 and went home with Anna from Kissimmee. She had bought 5 tickets.

Our cruise-O-Matic will be $300.00 next week. We had 123 cruisers tonight to show their vehicles.

See you all next week!
