The Friday Nite Cruise
Old Town Shopping Attraction.
5770 West 192
Kissimmee, Florida

October 12th

Finally a beautiful evening with no rain. The lovebugs are still here and we had to clean our vehicle when we arrived at Old Town. Our cruiser of the month, Tom Coupe arrived shortly after we did. Ralph and Shirley were also out to enjoy the beautiful day. Our cruiser friend Ken Keel was next in line. He
said, he felt a lot better this week.

We surely missed our good cruiser friend, Ken Kaelble, with his beautiful 2006 Dodge Ram Truck. We were informed, that Ken had a heart attack and fell at a cruise he and his friends were attending in Apopka. He was on life support but was still unconscious. As of this writing, we are not sure of his chances to recover. This is not good and we hope all of you will remember him and his family in prayer.

Greg and Rhonda were out with their Red 1974 AMC Gremlin X1-40 series. we think he will move it to Saturday Night with the new ruling. We are losing our
older cruisers. Around 7 o'clock, Mr. Pontiac arrived with his 1979 Pontiac. Ike and Nancy were with us again tonight. They generally make it once a month.
They have a beautiful Candy Apple Red 1977 Corvette. Jon and Angie Strode were out with their 1978 Pontiac Firebird Formula. Debbie had a little trouble last week with her battery but she was back tonight in good spirits. Dennis and his wife Linda had their 1986 Monte Carlo out to cruise. There were many new ones and we had a total of 215 vehicles that signed up to cruise the brick streets of Old Town. Many of them chose not to cruise. We do believe this is a record for a regular Friday Night Cruise.

On a sadder note, we had a few near misses tonight. Some cruisers just don't want to follow our simple rules. They want to buck the line and not willing to take their turn in the cruise. Our staff does a good job but they can't be everywhere. So cruisers come and cruise with us and not against us. We put a lot of money in our cruisers and don't want them damaged by someone who is not willing to wait for their turn. Lets keep it safe.

Our Cruise-O-Matic will go to $175.00 next week. Joe really tried to give it away but no takers tonight. Our 50/50 was $44.00 and Jennifer from Casselberry was the lucky winner.

See you all next week!
_______ Bill & Doris.
