September 21st

Ahoy Mates. What a beautiful evening for a Pirate Cruise through the streets of Old-Town. Thanks to Old Town and our entire staff, we had a very successful and amusing evening. We spotted a few very well dressed genuine looking pirates. Gary and Nikki really looked good in their paraphernalia. All our staff was sporting pirate head gear and eye patches which was given out by Allan. Even the band, "Eddy and the Cruizers" were decked out in pirate uniform. Allan had a "shake your booty contest", no, this was not a dancing contest. He had a small chest, with pieces of eight in it and he selected 10 shakers. Each contestant shook the little chest and guessed how many pieces were in it. The lucky winner was 13 and got a $25.00 gift certificate. There were no losers, all the rest got a root beer float from A & W. Thanks to Larry and all the other sponsors that make these cruises interesting. We think a good time was had by all.

We met Jody, a first time cruiser. She brought out a 1985 Red Corvette with a Landau top. This vehicle belongs to Clint Curtis from Titusville. Jody also has a Corvair she is getting ready to cruise. We hope she becomes a regular. Also James was back with us after graduating from Collision School. His parents, (Debbie and Tim) were back with their cruiser. Debbie also got lucky and took home a checkered flag. Our checkered flags were a little different tonight. They all had Jolly Rogers on them but Debbie's was different, hers was the only one with pink Jolly Rogers on it. We welcome these people back
to our cruise. Allan had a birthday Wednesday and he graciously shared his cake with us. We want to thank Bert for bringing our papers to us. Mr. Bronco who is cruiser of the month was in his special spot. One more week Bronco.
We had 120 cruisers on this special night.

The 50/50 was $35.00 and it was won by Ray Stanley from Philadelphia, Pa.
Joe had 6 numbers drawn for the Cruise-)-Matic. No takers tonight.

See you all next week.
_______ Bill & Doris.

Tonight's random drawing winners that and received the coveted "Old Town Checkered Flag" along with $25 cash and a drink from the Tropical Breeze.

Congratulations to the Checkered Flag Winners!
