The Friday Nite Cruise
Old Town Shopping Attraction.
5770 West 192
Kissimmee, Florida

September 14th

We welcome Joe Ness back to the early bird circle, along with Stan, Tom, Dave and Bev and Don & Jackie. It was a very hot day for a Cruiser Appreciation Day. We want to thank Old Town and the entire staff for all the nice things they do for us cruisers. We also want to thank all the sponsors that donate prizes or give discounts on these special days.

Joe refinished his Rad Red 1988 Ford Ranger Truck while he was in Pa. visiting his Mom & Dad and brother. They all had a hand in the refinishing of his truck. Along with some help from his friend Doug and a few others. This little beauty sports a new paint job and a custom built wood console between the two bucket seats. Also over a thousand dollars in lights which he acquired at Lights Beyond. This is a nice little shop here in Old Town where Joe also works. You can see this cruiser on block 4 almost every Friday Night.

El Camino Ernie stopped by to cruise with his 1987 GMC Caballero. It has a beautiful tan paint job with ghost flames on
the sides. It is powered by a 350 engine and resides in Clermont with its owner Ernie. We are seeing more El Caminos but this beauty is the top of the line.

David (Double D) Davis, better known as Mr. Bronco was in his prized spot tonight as Cruiser of the Month. Congratulations.

We had a beautiful evening until 8:30 when the rain storm came and lasted for an hour. Allan delayed the Cruise for a half hour, which was a good idea. The rain held off for the festivities back at the stage. There was a lot of good fun and prizes for the Cruisers. Again we want to thank Old Town and our great staff for showing their appreciation on this great day.

We had 131 signed in Cruisers although a few left when the rain began. The spectator crowd was low but the diehards, both spectators and cruisers, stayed to the end. We had a good band on stage but not too many dancers. It was just too hot.

The Cruise-O-Matic was $50.00 and Joe pulled 4 numbers but no takers tonight. The 50/50 was $46.00 and the lucky ticket number was 12621 and he also received a free case of Valvoline oil since only two people claimed their flags. Come on out and cruise with us any Friday Night.

_______ Bill & Doris.

Tonight's random drawing winners that and received the coveted "Old Town Checkered Flag" along with $25 cash and a drink from the Tropical Breeze.

Congratulations to the Checkered Flag Winners!
