The Friday Nite Cruise
Old Town Shopping Attraction.
5770 West 192
Kissimmee, Florida

August 17th

Another beautiful night for our Friday Night Cruise. We cruised on down a little early today but Tom with his little green truck was waiting on us. We were soon followed by Ken, Stan and Maryann, then Don and Jackie, Tommo and then Dave with his beautiful Silverado pickup. Dave's wife Bev was back from up North. It was good to see her. And we know Dave was glad.

After five we headed back to the Steak House on the corner. Tonight we were joined by Dave, Bev, Stan, Maryann, Don, Jackie, and Bobby joined us a little later. Then Andy, Nikki and Ed came in later. We hope the Steak House appreciates the cruisers business. Jose and Ellen from Polk City were out visiting the cruisers tonight. Two years ago he had a heart attack and hasn't been cruising since then. We are happy to report, he seems to be doing OK. And he is looking great. We hope this visit will urge him to come back and cruise with us again. We are family here and we are always glad when one of
us returns. We missed you Jose.

Our spectator friend, Bob, who usually comes out on Saturday was out to visit us tonight. He has a Saturday night cruiser but he rarely brings it out to cruise. Our staff was collecting for our broadcasting friend, Mike Singer. As you know he announces Old-Town radio. Mike has been having medical problems and is under going treatment. He is one of our family and we hope him the best and a full recovery.

Allan and Old-Town has made us a very special place for our cruiser of the month. Both Friday and Saturday nights. We are also getting a special board for all past and future cruisers of the month. This is all taking place near Tags With Class. They are making big plans for this section which will greatly improve our cruises. Keep watching, we think you will like it. Thanks Allan and Old Town.

Our Cruise-O-Matic was $325.00 tonight but no takers. Joe sure has trouble giving away money. Our 50/50 was won by one of our loyal cruisers. Andy and Nikki took home $49.00 with 5 tickets bought. We had a total of 160 cruisers. We think this is a new record for our regular Friday cruise.

See you all next week.
