July 6th

Hi, were back and it is good to be back at the cruise again. We missed all our cruiser friends and hope they missed us too. We want to thank Stan and Maryann for filling in for us.
As we cruised down to Old-Town today the weather was beautiful, but it did not last long. When we arrived Buzz and Susie along with Ken were waiting for us. Shortly after, Stan. Joe and Dave cruised in. Around 3 O'clock the rains came in. We had a beautiful rain until around 4 O'clock but it cleared up for us to get on the brick streets of Old Town. Stan joined us at the Steak House, then Bobby came in shortly after. Then the rain came again and we were stuck in the Steak House for about an hour. At cruise time the weather cleared and we had a beautiful night for our 72 cruisers that braved the weather tonight.

Our Cruiser of the Month for July was Jon and Angie Strode who reside in Ocoee. They drive a Gold 1978 Pontiac Firebird Formula. This car came from the factory with a 350 Chevy Motor. This is the first year, they used a Chevy motor in this car. They had this little beauty since 1981. Congratulations, this is an honor Old Town has bestowed upon us cruisers. Allan has informed us that there will be a sign out front with the Cruiser of the Months name on it. Thanks Allan.

David Davis, (better known as Bronco), had his 1984 tan and beige Bronco Two out to cruise with us tonight. You usually see him parked back on trophy row. He is a regular on Friday Night.
Butch Brooks, cruiser of the month for June received his beautiful jacket on stage tonight. Congratulations to him. We thank all who are responsible for this Friday Night honor.

Dave Garceau, from Winter Haven, who had the honor being cruiser of the month for January, had a birthday this week. Were not telling how old but we hope he has many more.

Our Cruise-O-Matic was $175.00 but no takers tonight. Our 50/50 was low tonight but ticket number 10584, who also is cruiser of the month, was the lucky winner Jon took home $30.00
