The Friday Nite Cruise
Old Town Shopping Attraction.
5770 West 192
Kissimmee, Florida

July 27th

We finally got a cruise in without any rain although it was threatening a couple of times. We need these summer showers but it is nice to have clear weather for a cruise. As we entered the brick street of Old-Town, Allan was taking pictures of the early birds. We are not sure what this means but Friday night is getting the recognition that it deserves. Thanks Allan. We did have 159 beautiful cruisers to cruise the street of Old Town tonight. Not bad for a Friday night and thanks to our hard working staff. We are glad to see that Esther is doing fine, we wish her a full recovery.

We are sorry to report that one of our Saturday night cruisers and also a good friend of Friday night cruisers has passed away this past Wednesday. Our sympathy goes out to Lynn and her family. Clint Olson will be sadly missed here at Old Town by all his friends.

After our meal at the Steak House, we checked out the cars. We talked to Shelby & Patricia Edwards who brought out their 1980 El Camino. They owned this little beauty since 1986. This must of been a good night for El Caminos because we had 4 of them. Our friend Doug had his newly acquired El Camino with him tonight.

We also found a cute little 1976 Fiat 600 R from Italy. It was reconditioned in Argentina and was originally white but it looks very good in it's green and copper coat. It is powered by a 135 H.P. engine and resides with it's owner, Ben Porco in Kissimmee. Manuel Rivera was glad to show us his 1975 Mazda RX3. This blue beauty has a rotary Motor and a 4 barrel carburetor. Only trouble is he only gets around 10 miles to a gal. We found a very unusual stretch limo. It was bright yellow and named mouse 2. It had mouse ears and whiskers and a very cute mouse tail. It is a Volkswagen and only two were made and this company owns both of them. You never know what you will find at Old Town. So come and check us out. It was good to see Ralph Icker and his wife Nancy out tonight with their corvette. It has been awhile since they were cruising and they got lucky and won a flag. Congratulations. Mr. Pontiac (Gerald), was back cruising with us tonight. He has been out for awhile and did some work on his Pontiac. Good to see you Gerald.
This is the last night for July cruiser of the month Jon and Angie Strode. Congratulation goes to them for having the honor of being cruiser of the month. Chuck and Jade Baker were also out tonight.

Our cruise-O-Matic will go to $275.00 next week. Joe could not give it away tonight. Our 50/50 of $58.00 went home with lucky number 11242 which belonged to Juan Ortiz. One of our cruisers.

See you all next week. Bill & Doris
