June 8th

This, being our 9th anniversary cruise we expected a lot of cruisers to come in quite early, so we cruised down to Old-Town about 9:30 to socialize with our Friday Night friends. We were a little early because Tom, Ken, Buzz, Joe and the rest of the regulars did not arrive until much later. We all congregated under a shade tree on this little grassy island next to the Steak House. Time passed quickly and then it was time to get our pictures taken. Joe left us in a little early to beat the rain shower that we got. After a beautiful little rain, it turned out to be a very lovely evening for the 200 cruisers that came out to show their beautiful vehicles on this very special evening.

It was good to see Richard's Monte Carlo back with us tonight. He has made this into a very special cruiser. Good job Richard. John Lenhart from Davenport, had his 1993 Chevy Indy 500 Truck out to show the crowd tonight. We also had Glen Allen from Kissimmee with his 1980 Mercury Bobcat. This little cruiser has a flat black paint job. Very easy to maintain. He has been cruising around 9 months.

We also found another proud owner of a car he bought new. Dennis Bungert from Kissimmee with his gray 1986 Monte Carlo. He is also a Saturday night cruiser. He was between two other beautiful gray cruisers, one a 1987 Olds cutlass Supreme. On the other side, Ryan Fontaine with his gray 1989 Cadillac. Thanks to Old-Town and our staff, we had a very memorable anniversary cruise.

An interesting note. Due to a mix-up on the 4 tires give away, We almost did not get our tires. Tony, true to his word took the money from his own pocket and bought the tires. we want to thank you Tony for your generosity.

We also want to thank Allan for recognizing the Friday Night Cruise. He thanked us for bringing Friday Nights to very special events.

We appreciate the gesture Allan. We also want to thank Old-Town for the privilege of being here. Out of This World Embroidery donated a beautiful jacket which was won by Skip from Orlando. The 4 tires were won by Antonio Santiago from Poinciana. We want to thank all of our sponsors

The 50/50 was $100.00 and went home with Rose Ann from Apollo Beach.

The Cruise-o-Matic will go to $100.00 next week.
