We are back to our regular Friday Night Cruise after a very successful
anniversary cruise last week. Thanks to Old-Town and our staff. We had a
very beautiful evening for our 133 cruisers that came out to show their
beautiful vehicles. Some how a 69 Plymouth got in our lineup, a little
too old for Friday Night. It was his first night and took the mistake
very well. We hope he comes back Saturday.
As you may or may not know that Amy is no longer with us in the office.
We met Traci who will take her place, She interviewed us and we think
she will be an asset to Old-Town. She will be interviewing Friday and
Saturday on the brick streets of Old-Town. We welcome her and good luck
to her. We also talked to our friend Dave, interviewing for C the TV. He
has some very interesting points to discuss. You may see his van but you
will see him roaming around with his camera. We also want to welcome him
to Old Town.
It was good to see Greg Jones back with his Gremlin. He has not been out
for awhile. We miss our regulars when they don't show up. Also Gregg
Homan, from the Citrus Tower was out with his 1974 Red Corvette. He also
cruises on Saturdays with his older corvettes. Congratulations to one of
our faithful cruisers, Bobby and his wife Arlene are celebrating their
29th anniversary. Good luck to both of you and hope you have many more.
You can catch Bobby and his Cougar on block 4 just about any Friday
Night.
Congratulations also goes out to Todd, one of our regular cruisers and
to Bratt, one of our hard working staff. Happy Birthday to both of you.
We also want to Thank Auto Zone for their generous donation to our
cruisers. They added a $50.00 gift certificate starting tonight.
We want to thank all of our sponsors for all they do for our cruises.
Allan and Traci did a good job announcing tonight. It seems when a
little help is needed, there is always someone to fill in. That is the
way our Friday Night Cruise is run. Thanks to all.
Our 50/50 was only $38.00 tonight. It was won by ticket 09328 which was
held by Ed Guglich, one of our regular Friday Night Cruiser. He bought 5
tickets. The cruise-O-Matic was $100.00 tonight
but no takers
See you all next week.
