The Friday Nite Cruise
Old Town Shopping Attraction.

May 18th

The weatherman smiled upon us tonight and the rain held off with just a few
sprinkles on the 91 cruisers that came out tonight to show their beautiful cruisers. The count was low tonight but some of the cruisers are on vacation and some getting ready for some shows tomorrow. Then their was a good chance of rain which kept many at home. Christopher Mohler from Orlando was in line with the early birds waiting to get on the brick streets of Old-Town. He had his 1981 Pontiac pace car with him tonight. This cruiser is powered by a 6.6 liter 400 Pontiac motor. It only has 32,000 miles on it and he acquired it in 2001. We want to welcome him to our cruise and hope to see him out every week. We do need some older cars. Todd and Julie Nash were out with their 1987 Monte Carlo SS. This little beauty was sporting a brand new paint job. They had it painted Teal Green which was a 1992 GM Truck shade of green. A very good job and it really enhances the looks of this beautiful cruiser. We have been getting quite a few pick up trucks, which is a good thing. We are proud of our regulars pickup trucks and Larry Morris has added another one to our cruise. He resides in Kissimmee and has a 1993 Red Chevy Pickup. Welcome to our cruise Larry.

Our cruisers are not the only ones who enjoy the old cars, we met Fred from Michigan. We talked for awhile and found he had a few old cars back in Michigan. He is a Ford man and is so interested in our cruises that he subscribes to this neat little paper to keep up with the news. Thank you Fred. We had a little detour on our cruise tonight due to a person waiting for an ambulance. No problem because our staff will always see us through.

Joe did manage to give our Cruise-O-Matic away tonight. Juan Garcia Ruiz took home $225.00. He drives a 1995 Honda. He almost did not get it. Joe had called another number before he went to the stage to claim it. You have to be alert when those numbers are called. Our 50/50 of $53.00 went to number 07888. Francis from Pa.
See you all next week!
