April 6th

Another beautiful night for our Friday Night Cruise. Not a drop of rain in sight. Although we do need some rain. One hundred thirty nine cruisers came out to enjoy this beautiful weather. It is nice having visiting clubs but it is also nice to get back to just a regular cruise. We had a line of early birds lined up to get in at 5 o'clock. We all come early to socialize and to enjoy Old-Town. After all, this is what this cruise is all about. Friendship and fun, not competition.  The cars are the stars and not the people. Thanks to our staff and Old-Town for keeping it that way. We want to welcome Richard back, we missed him while he was away. He assured us, he had a very good time, but glad to get back to his cruising friends.

Doug was back with his yellow Thunderbird, after a few weeks off. He is working a lot of overtime and that makes him miss a lot of cruises. We guess, someone has to work. Emma Nelson was out tonight. Her and Greg are enjoying their new home but we miss not seeing them here. Ike and
Nancy Icker brought out there Corvette. Have not seen them for awhile. Jeff Rayside had his beautiful white Cadillac at the cruise tonight. This car has a very unique paint job, he has made this a real classy classic. We also spotted C J and Candi, another pair of cruisers we don't see enough of. We had a very good turnout of spectators. It is Spring break and they were out enjoying all there is at Old-Town to see and do. They had a new shoe store that just opened up and some fairly good buys. We want to thank all these businesses that sponsor the cruisers and thank Old-Town for having us.
We want to welcome Ken and Wanda Tiggleman for being cruiser of the month for April. They have a beautiful Corvette Pace Car. They are faithful cruisers, we want to congratulate them.

Where's Rooben entertained on stage tonight. No Dukes on the corner. Our 50/50 Was $60.00 tonight and it was taken home by Mark Orchard from Orlando. His lucky number was 05187. Our cruise-O-
Matic will go to $100.00 next week. No takers tonight.

We want to thank Joe, Richard and all the staff for another safe and enjoyable cruise.

See you next week!
