The Friday Nite Cruise
Old Town Shopping Attraction.
5770 West 192
Kissimmee, Florida

April 20th

We almost had a dry cruise, but just before we hit the brick streets of Old-Town it started to rain. Just enough to wet the cars. However it did not stop the 166 cruisers that showed up to show their beautiful vehicles. As the evening wore on, it got a little bit colder. Sure glad we had our jackets after enjoying a beautiful warm day. By the time 5 o'clock rolled around, all the regulars were in line to enter the brick streets of Old-Town. After our evening meal we wandered up to the stage and were entertained by a group of young
people from Sedgeville Middle School. This group is from Goose Creek, S. Carolina. They came to play at Old-Town and did a very good job. Tomorrow they will go to Universal. We hope they have a very successful trip while visiting us. We thank them for coming. Ralph and Shirley were back with us tonight. We miss them when they are not here as we do all our cruising friends. Stan's son and his family were visiting with us tonight. enjoying Old Town They are from Hawaii and came to see what Florida has to offer.

We had 2 visiting car clubs tonight. They were the Untamed Impressions and the Untamed Obsessions. We are always glad to have these car clubs visiting us. Another cruiser we don't see every week was Anibal with his beautiful 1979 Caprice. This is really a classic car. He keeps it looking good. One of the tourist was looking at our T-Bird and he has one exactly like it back home. He had pictures to show us. It is also a one owner like ours. He is very proud of it as we are of ours.

Our Saturday night Cruise Director and good friend, Richard Stewart had a birthday on the 19th. You are not getting older Richard, just getting better. Happy Birthday and congratulations. He didn't care to get on stage but Joe has a way to get things done.

Eddy and the Cruizers were entertaining on stage tonight. Our Cruise-o-matic was $125.00 tonight. No takers tonight. the 50/50 was won by ticket no. 06924. Our lucky winner was Nr. Pontiac, one of our regular cruisers. He bought 20 tickets. Gerald wasn't cruising tonight because his car is a little under the weather now but hopes to have it running next week. He did get a ride with Bobby tonight thru the cruise. Come out and see us sometime.
See you next week!
