April 13th

Oh what a beautiful night for our Friday Night Cruise. Although it was Friday the 13th we could not ask for a better night. We had 168 beautiful cruisers tonight to cruise the brick streets of Old Town. We also had a good number of spectators who came out to appreciate our cruisers. We arrived early as the traffic wasn't as bad as we expected. A few of our early birds are going for a show in Georgia, so they did not show up tonight. Stan, Tom, Joe, Dave, Don and Jackie came in shortly after. Don was really under the weather tonight. He wasn't his joyous self and quiet and we know he felt bad. We hope him a quick recovery. After our meal at the Steak House,
where we were joined by Stan and Maryann, Bobby and Dave and Micha.

We went back to the stage and were entertained by the Davenport School Of The Arts. These kids have been here before and they are very good at what they do. It is good to see different entertainment at Old Town. One never knows what one will find at Old Town. So come on out and enjoy all Old Town has to offer.

We also found a 1997 Gray Chevy S10 pickup. Gary Vanderberg is the proud owner of this cruiser. He lives 6 mo. in Brooksville and 6 mo. in Michigan. This is his second time out to cruise with us. This truck has many modifications. He is also into John Deere products but that is another story.
George is off his crutches and is doing fine and is anxious to get back to work at Disney. Were glad to see he is doing so good. Sue Evans had an operation but is doing fine and is recuperating at home so we are told. Our prayers are with you Sue. It was good to se Vinny out tonight. He is looking good and glad to be back with his cruising friends. Also we spotted Bill and Virginia Azar out with their friends tonight. They are so busy and we haven't seen them for awhile.

Ken and Wanda Tiggleman, cruisers of the month, led us to another safe and enjoyable cruise. Also thanks to Old Town and our staff. The Repeatles were on stage tonight and no Dukes on the corner. Sure do miss them when they are not there.

Our 50/50 was won by a cruiser. Tony Baugh who bought 10 tickets took home $50.00 with no. 06811. The Cruise-O-Matic will go to #125.00 next week. Joe couldn't give it away tonight.

See you next week!
