The Friday Nite Cruise
Old Town Shopping Attraction.
5770 West 192
Kissimmee, Florida

March 9th

Another clear and beautiful day and we arrived at Old-Town a little early and were soon followed by Stan and Maryann, Bill, Buzz, Dave, Ken and Don and Jackie. Our early regulars come out and socialize with fellow cruisers. That is what this cruise is all about. Good friends and beautiful classic cars. Ralph and Shirley, Stan and Maryann and Bobby joined us at the Steak House for our evening meal. We were surprised when Dave and Bev Garceau came in. Dave has been out for awhile after his operation. We did not expect to see him out this soon but sure glad to see them both. He is coming along fine. We also want to thank them for the generous donation to this newspaper.

We want to wish Tom Coupe a speedy recovery from all the problems he has been having. Also George Pennachi is back with us but still has a cast on his leg.

Ricardo Acosta from Kissimmee brought out his 1976 MG Midget. He has had this car almost 3 years and has been cruising off and on for 3 years. We hope he becomes a regular Friday Night Cruiser.

We had 185 cruisers tonight, that is good but we had some rude cruisers tonight. Please have respect for your fellow cruisers. We have a very capable staff, please respect them also. If we all just follow the simple rules we will have many more pleasant cruises. Please help.

The Dukes were back on the corner of block 4. They had a large crowd tonight and it is always good to see them.

Paul Harrold is cruiser of the month for March with his Black 1987 Grand National. Joe Ness was out with his Red Pickup. He is a young cruiser and enjoys working on his truck. He likes to enter it in different car shows. It is amazing what they come up with.

Our 50/50 of $85.00 went to ticket no. 04249 which was held by our cruiser Eddy (Flame) Guglich. The cruise-O-Matic of $25.00 will go to $50.00 next week.

See you all next week.
