The Friday Nite Cruise
Old Town Shopping Attraction.
5770 West 192
Kissimmee, Florida

March 2nd

It was a very windy afternoon and with all the construction on our way down, our cruisers were dusty and collected some of that Florida sand that was blowing around. We brought the S10 so there wasn’t that much to wipe off. Stan and Maryann were next to arrive. Ken made it out early as did Dave, Tom and Joe. Before 5 o’clock Buzz and Sue arrived. Sue hasn’t felt good for awhile. We hope and pray all comes out good for her. Dave Garceau is feeling much better since his operation and hopes to be back cruising with us before too long.

We went to the Steak House for our evening meal along with Stan, Maryann and Bobby. Then we headed out to socialize with our other cruisers. We met Pablo and Nilda who are regulars at Old-Town on Fridays and Saturdays.

Bert and Laverne were out with their newly acquired 1995 Flare Side Ford. He was having a wolf head decal put on his hood. He also has two wolf head decals on the tailgate.

Alan and Delores Faber who resides six months in Clermont and 6 months in Massachusetts brought out their 1973 Metallic Blue Mustang. They bought it off the showroom floor in 1973 and everything is original on it. This car has been in the Mustang Monthly Magazine and the Mustang Times. It is good to see the older cars and how people took care of them to keep them in good shape to show.

Don and Jackie were a little late coming in and had to park up on block one. Gerald came in later, I4 was crowded as usual. He was feeling a lot better this week. Tom was out with his Mustang and had his son Tom with him.

Our Cruiser of the Month for March is Paul Harrold. He has a black 1987 Grand National. We want to congratulate him for being chosen Cruiser of the Month.

We had 153 fine cruisers for our first March cruise. Our cruise-O-Matic was won by one of our cruisers so next week it will be back to $25.00. Our 50/50 was $75.00 tonight and was won by ticket no. 04293 which belonged to a spectator. Once again we want to thank Old-Town and all the Merchants for sponsoring our Friday Night Cruise.

See you all next week.
