The Friday Nite Cruise
Old Town Shopping Attraction.
5770 West 192
Kissimmee, Florida

February 16th

Another cold night for a Friday Night Cruise. However by 5 o’clock we had a full line of cruisers waiting to get on the brick street of Old-Town. There seemed to be more spectator activity than usual, we guess the tourist don’t mind the cold weather. After our evening meal we went out to check the new arrivals. We found a newcomer to our cruise. Carlos Santos, who resides in Davenport just moved down from New York. He has been wanting to try a cruise and he picked ours. He brought out his Green 1995 Trans AM Pontiac. This is a one owner car and he has personalized it with his wife’s help. He is a great fan of the incredible Hulk, that is why the car is green.

His wife is an artist and she hand painted the dash with a brick wall and a picture of the incredible Hulk. She did a very good job. It is good to see other people’s ideas of designing. That is what makes it interesting to check out all the cruisers.

It was good to see Tom Coupe back with his green Ranger, it was out of commission for a month. Ken Kaelble who resides in Clermont was out with his 05 Dodge Ram. He has not been out for awhile. Sue and Buzz were also out with their truck and Joe Ness with his Ranger. We have quite a few regular trucks. We heard Dave Garceau came thru with his shoulder operation very well. We have no other news but we will keep you all informed when we learn more.

Bert and Laverne are the cruisers of the month. We want to thank them for delivering the cruise papers to us. Bob is on vacation in the Keys. We miss Bobby and Gerald on block four. We hope it is only the cold weather keeping them away.

Joe had 6 numbers pulled for the Cruise-O-Matic, Barb Karlson was the lucky winner of $25.00, she also won a flag. We understand this was her first cruise. She is off to a very good start. Only 3 claimed their flags tonight.

The 50/50 which was $37.00 went to number 03424 and was won by a tourist from Illinois. We had 104 brave cruisers that came out on a cold February evening. Thanks to them and our staff for another safe and enjoyable Friday Night Cruise.

See you all next week.
