For some reason we arrived at the Sonic a little after 4:00, the traffic
must have been lighter than I figured that it would be. Ed & Evelyn
would arrive just after we did in her '64 Corvair Coupe, they had to be
in town for his last therapy session, can't call him "Lefty" any more.
Ron rolled his '61 Caddy into the lot next followed by Roger in his '86
Mustang. Paul backed the DeSoto into his favorite spot under the big
tree. Bob backed his SSR in to the spot he likes best, Dick parked his
2+2 Mustang a few spots down from him. Bill would park his Blazer across
from Paul. Nicky "Bop" brought out his 'Vette and parked next to Roger.
Tony & Marianne would park the "Black Beauty" across from the trailer.
Bert & Ernie would back the '66 Comet wagon in, next to them. Ed & Sarah
would bring out the "Shortbox" pickup, Doc & Suzzane would back the
"Tater Truck" in across from us. Steve & Cheryl Mc would debut her '64
Corvair convertible. Gary & Wanda would park "Remember When", their '55
Chevy, next to Steve. "Bo" was out in his Corvair convertible. Don, Jeff
& Tara, Jean, Scott & Cindi were seen out sans any Cruisers. Russ had
his "Wild Thing" down in Hot Rod Row. Roger F, was out in his '56 Chevy,
Larry was parked next to him. Roger is going in for surgery next week,
good luck, and heal quick! John R would have his '65 Mustang in the row
by the "Shortbox" Chevy. Up in front there would be a pair of Edsel's,
Jeff's '59 Red & White 2 Door and Dan Z. in his '59 Black & Sliver 2
Door Hardtop. Yes that's right, Dan in an Edsel! "Big Jim" would be out
in his Tubbed out Beretta, James in his Firebird and Nick in the '32
Blown 5 Window coupe. Francine brought out the Camaro, John &
Terri in their '68 Mustang, "Cousin John" was in his Caddy. Louie was
out in the '52 Ford. Phill in his Camaro. Spectators Allan & Pat along
with Coy were out tonight.
Dana even dropped by to lend a bit of his humor. Bob, not in the '36
Ford helped out with the ticket sales. Jim was out in his '02
Anniversary edition T-Bird. Mike & daughter Kristen were out picking up
a few parts from Ed for their new '63 Corvair Spyder convertible. They
hope to be Cruising soon! Bobby & Kathy premiered their Eldorado powered
'57 Chevy tonight. What a great looking car. Al in his Model A Tudor and
George in his '61 Falcon were the last to arrive.
John, Lisa & Jonathan Dilullo, Cruiser # 390 are our November "Cruiser
of the Month" with their '68 Camaro SS, they too were out and received
the cap tonight, next week they will receive the plaque.
The 50/50 of $106, not bad for 50 or so cars, went home with Tony &
Marianne DeGennaro. Cruiser #150 in their '71 Monte Carlo. The
"Cruise-A-Matic" rolls up to $250 next week, Paul & Betty Kemp were not
out tonight.
