"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

April 5th

It looked as though Mother nature would bring us some much needed rain before the close of our Cruise-In so Mike did the drawing early. I am sure this is why there were not that many Cruisers out tonight. Coach was out in his Pro Street Duster, he said "If I'd have known all it would have taken to get some rain would be to bring this car out, I would have done it a while ago". John & Sandy Foster came out for their last Thursday Nite before heading home early next week. Ron H. was back out in his Model A after a few weeks at the "Cabin". Tommy & Mary were back in town for the day, another load to Jacksonville. His '66 GMC pickup was sold tonight. Marianne & Tony were the first to arrive. "Big John" was next. Nicky "Bop" was in his Deuce Coupe. Ron A in the Caddy. Louie in his '52. Ed & Sarah were out in the "Shortbox" C-10 pickup. Ken, "Ken's used car lot" the white pickup that is usually next to our car was back out tonight, he is finally feeling a little better. Bob got the radiator and ignition problems fixed, so his '36 Ford Humpback was once again parked in with us, he was helping Mike in the trailer as usual.  Bob's "Boiled Arm" is healing well. Bill, Virginia, Trevor and Lucky didn't make it out. Lucky was at the Vet being treated for injuries sustained when he tangled with a van. Just to name a few. Tony had news on the paint job on his Corvair, "It's Yellow" and almost done, just needs to be sanded and "cleared" now.

With only 35 cars the 50/50 was $75.00. No time to shop so the first $75 was given out in small cash prizes. Along with the other normal donations from Whistle Junction, Sonny's and Beef O'Bradys.

Louie Piazza. #452, was awarded his "Cruiser of the Month April 2007" plaque sponsored by Eagle Engraving and "Mustang Mike" and hat, provided by Embroidery by Rene.

"Cruiser of the Week" went home with Jim and Shirley Crawford, #188, in their 1950 Willys Jeepster.

Suzanne, Doc's lady, had the winning ticket for the $75 50/50.

The Cruise-A-Matic of $25 would have gone home with Tom & Shelly Hartwig, #265, if they would have been out. Next week there will be $50 in the offering.

As always a Big Thank You! To:

AutoZone - Beef O’Brady’s - Carvel - Dad’s New York Deli - Quiznos - Sonic Sonny’s - Wal-Mart - Whistle Junction All those that continue to support our Cruise-In with Prizes. To “Mustang Mike” for entertaining us every week.

Here are a few photos.

Congratulations to the winners and Thank You to all that came out tonight. See you all "Out There!"
