"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

March 15th

The rain stopped the nights events short. 60 Cars had already made it to the parking lot before the raindrops fell.  Many of the "Die Hards" had made it out, "Big john" was amongst the first to arrive. Bill, Trevor & Mr. Lucky were out in the 'Vette. Nicky "bop", still looking for an echo was out in his Coupe. Ron A in the Caddy, Tony & Marianne in the Monte SS, the Fosters in the Blue & White Ford, for the 4th week or so, is that a record? Bob in his SSR picked up the newsletters for Bill & Doris. Bert & "Ernie" had the Flareside out and parked next to them was his old Caddy driven by Louie & Phill's cousin, John. Steve Mc in the Courier, Ed & Sarah in the "Shortbox" Chevy, just to name a few.

Most of the talk was about when it was going to rain. The decision was made to do the drawings about 45 minutes early. The Fosters went to rescue Steve & Carolyn that thought they may need a fuel pump. John, KG4BFJ, came out just about the time we were winding things up. Larry in "ITZA40" is headed back to Canada this weekend so we won't see him again until next February. John in the Caddy and Christopher & Susan in their Trans Am signed up as cruisers tonight, Welcome!

The 50/50 that was $85 was won by Steve Clarke, he donated $25 to the Cruise-In and $10 to this newsletter, Thank You!

"Cruise-A-Matic" of $50 would have gone home with "Armadillo Red" & Vicki McCloughen, Cruiser #145, if they would have come out. Next week it rolls up to $75.

"Cruiser of the Week" went home in an Orbit Orange '71 Pontiac GTO driven by "Big John" Cuttitta, Cruiser #4.

The flatbed "Wreckers" from Russell's Towing that were circling the lot made most of us a little nervous, especially John (KG4BFJ), when they started to congregate by his "Red Racer".

Here are a few photos.

Congratulations to the winners and Thank You to all that came out tonight. See you all "Out There!"
