It seemed that today would be a good day for a Cruise-In, the
temperatures were above normal but there was a cold front coming in.
There was also a chance of "Sea Breeze Storms", the ones we get during
the summer.
For a Cruise that never got off the ground we still had about a dozen or
so that made it out to Sonic/Wal-Mart parking lot. Steve Mc was already
parked when I arrived in the warm sunshine at just after 4:00. Mike was
setting up and asking a few Motor homes to move out of the parking area
until we were done. They did so, graciously and they would return after
we were gone. "Big John" brought out a great '71 Pontiac GTO. Paul was
out in his DeSoto, Jean, still waiting for her car to be done was out.
Bill Lamping came out in his '46 Plymouth, Streetrod. Bill, Virginia,
Trevor and Lucky were out in the "Vette. Nicky "Bop" had his '55 Chevy
parked next to him. Ron, in the Caddy was the first to leave when the
rain came. Bill in the Blazer occupied "Ken's Used Car Lot". Ed & Sarah were in their '70 Shortbox" Chevy. Ed & Evelyn ate
at the Sonic with a lot of us, including Bo, Nick, Francine, Ron H. and
a bunch more before we decide to all go home, in the rain at 6:30. No
drawings and the "Cruise-A-Matic" remains at $25. No Cruiser of the
Week".
Here are a few photos.

Thank You to all that came out
tonight.
See you all "Out There!"
