It was a seasonable day here in Central Florida, the highs in the mid
70's and just below 60 by Cruise end. It sure was nice to see even more
"Snowbirds" . Bill Ash from Ontario Canada in his freshly redone '63
Pontiac Parisienne (U.S. Bonneville) convertible, Bill is only in
Florida for a few weeks but never misses this Thursday Nite event when
he is in town. Pablo & Nilda in their '72 VW Beetle, were waiting for us
in the parking lot when we arrived at 4:00, these long time Saturday
Nite Cruisers joined us this evening. Dave brought out his Maverick for
the first time. Jeff, long time spectator brought out his '59 Edsel.
Welcome to all of you, hope to see you all on a regular basis. Tony &
Marianne came out in the daily driver, the Monte is still under window
renovation. Nicky "Bop" brought out his '55 Chevy and Manny. Tom, Edna
and Noel brought out the 8 door Greenbrier. Steve Mc was in the "Real
Steel 27". Ed & Sarah were in the Starfire. Hot Rod Row had the
"Scott Rod" and "Wild Thing" in it. Chuck followed Randy in the '66 Ford
Pickup with his T-Bucket. Chuck & Cindy will be moving up to Tennessee
in 20 days or so, they will be missed. I just named a few that made it
out tonight. Cara helped "Mustang Mike" and Bob in the trailer.
The hundred or so cars ran the 50/50 up to $142.00 during the evening,
shopping for "other door prizes" was done by Marianne, Thank You. Dan &
Liz stayed for the drawings tonight. I think it was Jeff's influence.
Thanks Jeff. There were a lot of "New Cars" around as well but they
didn't ask about registration, maybe they will next week.
Just before the drawing Mike presented Steve McCullough with his
"Cruiser of the Month" plaque. Dan Z. was one of the first "Prize
winners" and had the winning ticket for 50/50, I guess it pays to stay,
huh, Dan? Thanks for the $20 donation to the newsletter. Cruiser #165,
Paul Boehm wasn't out to claim the $200 "Cruise-A-Matic", Awwwww. So
next week we have $225 in the offering.
The "Golden Eagle Engraving/Embroidering by Renee Cruiser of the Week"
went home in Jim & Peggy Rouse's 1967 Pontiac GTO.
Here are a few photos.

Congratulations to the winners and a big Thank You to all that came out
tonight.
See you all "Out There!"
