"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

January 25th

35 Cruisers in their cars braved the cold to make it out tonight. Last week we were having record high temperatures so that makes today seem even colder than normal. Today's high was only in the mid 50 degree range. Of course the topic for the night was, "Who forgot to pay the heat bill?". Most of the Die Hards were out. We even welcomed a few new Cruisers in this cold. Nick & Francine and their ‘32 Ford Street Rod, and Dick with his ‘65 Mustang Fastback. Tony would take possession of his latest Cruiser. Steve's daily driver the little '62 Corvair Coupe he has been driving. Neil & Elaine arrived into town for a short visit, they had to stop at the Cruise-In before driving to their house. Most people had to make fun of my two hats and 2 coats, Linda had many more layers than I did. Many of the Cruisers would set in their cars to stay out of the wind that was whipping through the lot.

Tonight for the drawings we did not have any store bought prizes. Just cash! Instead of 1 drawing for the half of the 50/50 was $132, the monies were combined into several $20-10 and $5 prizes. Nicky "Bop" had help heckling tonight, Dana helped him shout out "Stay out of the Fives", come on Nicky make up your mind.

The "Cruise-A-Matic" of $150 would have gone home with Stephanie and Butch Tengelin but they were not out tonight. So next week it rolls up to $175.

Cruiser of the Week went home with Mandy "Bop" oh wait I mean Nicky "Bop" in his '55 Chevy.

It was in the 40's by the time the Cruise-In ended at 8:00. Brrrrrr.

Here are a few photos

Congratulations to the winners and a big Thank You to all that came out tonight. See you all "Out There!"
