"Mustang Mike's"
Saint Cloud Thursday Nite Cruise-In

In the Wal-Mart Parking Lot
Next to the Sonic Drive-In
Saint Cloud, Florida

January 11th

Linda & I arrived at the Cruise-In just after 4:00. Dana was there in his work truck napping. Bill, Trevor & Lucky already had the 'Vette parked in their place next to Tony & Marianne's Monte. The night looked promising as the weather was beautiful. The parking lot was filling up quickly, even Tom made it out in his Greenbrier, Ed & Evelyn in their Monza convertible and Ed & Sarah in the Starfire, always good seeing them out. Scott & Russ were parked in "Hot Rod Row".  The "Pro-Street" area along 192 even had "Big Jim's" Beretta next to Dan & Liz's Willys. Bob brought out his Camaro tonight. Mike gave him his Cruiser of the Month hat for July tonight. Nicky "Bop" brought out the Yellow 'Vette parked it next to another Yellow 'Vette. To much Yellow in one spot I think, had to wear sunglasses even after the Sun went down. Chuck in his T-Bucket was followed in by Randy in "Butch" his '66 Ford pickup. John, in the 6 wheeler just got back into town from an extended trip to Indiana for the Holiday's. John & Shirley in their F-85 was next to him. The "Mustang Twins" were out in both cars, Fred, our regular spectator joined them. John & Sandy brought out the '56 Ford for a second week. Just how long will they have this one? Dick & Gert were out in their '64 Impala convertible. Just to mention a few that make this event a great time, every Thursday Nite in Saint Cloud. The Sonic was back open and so the food and facilities were a little closer tonight.

Tony reports that there are 20 cars that will make the FACACA road trip to Mt. Dora this Sunday. It is always a sight to see this rolling history running up  the Turnpike.

Jaime, in his Cobra, had a special guest, Grizzly, a 10 week old, Yorkie, I think puppy. What a cutie. Tony DeG and Louie were the shoppers tonight and a great job they did. Thank You.

The nearly 100 cars had the 50/50 up to $118. If Thomas Calabro, Cruiser #190, would have come out tonight he would have gone home with the $100 "Cruise-A-Matic". That means there is $125 in the offering next week. Jaime Justinano, Cruiser, #764, and Grizzly, his good luck charm, had the winning ticket for the 50/50. They donated some of the proceeds back to the Cruise-In and this newsletter, Thank You.

"Cruiser of the Week" was taken home by Ron Hood, #524, with his '53 Chevy.

Here are a few Photos.

congratulations to the winners and a big Thank You to all that came out tonight. See you all "Out There!"
