"Duke" Davis' Wednesday Nite Cruise-In
Brought to you by Saint Cloud "Bites"
at "Magnolia Square"

East Highway 192
Saint Cloud, Florida

In Memory of C. "Duke" Davis

December 5th

The weather is getting closer to the normal, still a little above average temperature, I'll take it. Anyway it was a beautiful day. Linda & I had to work in the morning but it wasn't going to stop us from making it out to a Cruise-In. We arrived about 4:15. It wasn't until about 4:30 that Paul rolled his new "Toy" into the "Square". It is an '85 Dodge Ram 150 pickup. Great looking truck. Larry was next to arrive in his '64 Galaxie 500. Coy, our regular spectator and helper from Thursday nite stopped by for the first time to a Wednesday. Ron H. brought out his '53 Chevy, Bobby was in his Caddy powered '57 Chevy. "Scary Larry" was in his Mustang. Harry arrived in his daily driver about the time Dick rolled his white 2+2 Mustang into the parking lot. Jack was out in his daily driver, Old Yeller is being worked on. Ron A backed his '61 Caddy next to Bobby's Chevy. Greg arrived in his Camaro. Roger H had his '48 Chevy pickup out tonight. Bob parked his Chevelle in it's place of honor. Nick parked the '32 Ford next to our Corvair. Jerry & Cindi were out with family, the Studebaker was at home, a little Carburetor swapping was in play. Danny came out to join in as did Laura, KI4GJX and T Rod, KI4GJS. Andy in his '79 Caddy and the "Wookie" out in the '83 Mustang made it to the lot while we were in "Bites" eating. Steve & Charlie were in the daily driver. It was a little chilly outside but that didn't stop the regular visiting of all that attended. We all had a turn with the spectators that were asking about the cars. Ron H. had over 200 photos that Shirley took at the Model A Olympics that was held at their house last month. I will post them online for all to see.

Chris and the "Bites" staff fed all of us in a timely and friendly fashion, this always makes us feel at home. Jack donated a few $10 Bites certificates to the drawing and a very nice donation to this newsletter. Thank You.

Bobby Simpson, Cruiser #195 had the winning ticket for the $45 50/50.

The "Cruise-A-Matic" rolls up to $20 next week, Cruiser #100, Scott Chiavini wasn't out tonight. Awwwww.

"Cruiser of the Week" went home in that '52 Ford Customline with Cruiser #9, "Lucky Louie" Piazza.

on to a few photos after this...
