What a beautiful night! It was a little humid but it was only about 70
degrees outside. It was bit warmer earlier, especially for December.
Linda & I backed the Corvair into our favorite spot at the "Square",
"Scary Larry" was already there in his '86 Mustang. Paul was next to
arrive just before 4:30 in his Dodge Ram. Mike then pulled the DJ rig
into the parking lot and was unable to park in his regular spot because
there was an abandoned motorcycle setting right in the middle of the
row. Larry rolled his '64 Galaxie in and parked next to us. Dan Z
arrived in his 3 toned Willys, followed by "Big John" in the '69 GT350
convertible. Bill parked his '86 Blazer next to Larry. Ron H was next to
park his Model A Tudor in line. Ron A. backed his '61 Caddy right were
he likes it. Louie tried to park his '52 Ford in it's place of honor but
because of the bike he couldn't so he parked next to Ron's Caddy. Coy
arrived with his Dog Poo in hand, Nick arrived in his '32 Ford followed
by Bob in the '68 Chevelle. Word on his Camaro is that it has been
painted, we should see it out soon. Andy parked his deVille in the
front row. John backed his little 6 wheeler in a spot just down from
Andy. Lew was out in his '68 Falcon. "Cousin John" was out in his
deVille. Roy parked his '64 Galaxie 500 XL next to the GT350. Steve &
Charlie were out in the daily driver, Steve is still waiting for a few
parts to finish the door panels in the '77 deVille. The "Wookie" brought
out his "Heartbreaker" '83 Mustang. Al had the Model A all decorated for
Christmas, then George rolled his '61 Falcon into the lot at just after
7:00.
The main topic of discussion was the Holiday season and the fact that we
only have one more night at the Square this year. Chris was spotted
buzzing around the complex, the staff at Bites took great care of all
that dined. This is a very good get together because of it's smaller
size. I like to call it the "Cruisers, Cruise". Graham, G4HFG, came in
over the radio to see who was out tonight.
Coy had the winning ticket for the $49 50/50. Hank Horn would have gone
home with the $20 "Cruise-A-Matic" if he would have come by tonight,
Awwww, so next week we have $30 in the offering.
"Cruiser
of the Week" went home in that '86 6 Wheeled Suzuki Samurai with Cruiser #112,
