What a beautiful day! Linda & I arrived at the "Square" just after 4:00.
Paul rolled his '58 DeSoto into the lot and took his favorite spot. Good
to see him out on a Wednesday! "Mustang Mike" arrived a few
minutes later. Bruce, KD4KXE, stopped by to pick up some
lunch and a newsletter, he is headed to a Cobra show over the weekend,
so that meant getting it all polished up today and tomorrow. Bill
arrived in the Blazer and parked next to us, it had been a while since
he came out as well, you have been missed. Louie arrived in his '52 Ford
and parked behind the DJ rig. Ron A backed his '61 Caddy in beside it.
Nick rumbled his "Full Blown, Big Block" Duce coupe into the lot and
parked in front of the DJ rig. James arrived for the first time to the
"Square ' in his Firebird and parked next to Nick. Dick backed his 2+2
Mustang next to the Caddy. Bob arrived in his '68 Chevelle SS396 and
backed in next to Bill. Brandon brought out his '71 Dodge "Swinger"
tonight. Then I spotted a what I thought was a '62 Studebaker Lark
come in. Roy brought out his Infiniti convertible, Andy backed his '79
deVille in to a spot. Steve & Charlie were in the '77 deVille. The
Poinciana Kid was out in his Camaro, good to see him out. Ron was out on
his crutches, still can't drive. Dan a regular spectator was out, he
said Larry will be back in town next week. The "Wookie" had the
Buck in it's place of honor. Warant & Kathy were out, without any
of their 5 Cruisers, good to see them anyway. Bring cars next time! Al
chugged his '3 Model A Tudor into the lot followed by George in his
heirloom Falcon.
The '62 Studebaker Regal is owned by Jerry & Cindi,
they joined us tonight and signed up for Thursday as well. John & Irina
were out for the first time in a while, he had been battling some health
issues, they left the Berkley at home and were out in a '00 Porsche
"Show Car". Good to see them out as well, hope they come back on a
regular basis.
19 Cars made it out tonight, lets get more next week,
after all it is the only Saint Cloud Cruise next week.
The 50/50 of $45 was taken home by a spectator,
Malcolm, the manager of the Lakeside Inn.
The "Cruise-A-Matic" rolls up to $60 next week,
Cruiser #81, Bobby Gawlowski wasn't Cruising tonight. Awwwwww
Yes, Graham, W4HFG, who usually checks in over the
radio for his "color" report did so from a mobile here in the Florida
rather than over the internet connection. He and Carole will be visiting
us tomorrow night at the Thursday Nite Cruise-In.
"Cruiser of the Week" went home in that
heirloom '61 Falcon and
the
George Crofut Cruiser #208.
