"Duke" Davis' Wednesday Nite Cruise-In
Brought to you by Saint Cloud "Bites"
at "Magnolia Square"

East Highway 192
Saint Cloud, Florida

In Memory of C. "Duke" Davis

June 27th

The Cruise-In turned into quite a nice one tonight, it did however start a little slow. We arrived about 4:20, Jack in "Ol' Yeller", his '29 Ford Model A was next to arrive just before "Mustang Mike" parked his rig just where he likes it. Ed & Sarah were out in their '70 "Shortbox" Chevy pickup. Just back from vacation. Ron then rolled his Caddy into the lot and parked by the back of the DJ rig. Wanda was out in her '71 Monte Carlo, it has been a while since we have seen that car. Louie wheeled his '52 Ford next to our Corvair. The "Wookie" was out in the "Heat Breaker", his Mustang convertible, followed by Andy in his '79 deVille. Dick was out on his bike, his Mustang is still down, Jackie joined him for dinner at Bites a little later. Nick & grandson Daniel arrived in the '32 Ford rocket sled. They are headed out for a "Good Guys" show in Nashville tomorrow. Bob arrived in his '68 Chevelle and parked next to us, Doc brought over Susan's Pro-Street '72 Charger. Steve & Charlie were out in the '77 deVille. John was in his yellow '49 Chevy pickup. Roy in his Infiniti, had news about his '64 Ford that he is getting ready for this weekend. Little George & Big George were out in the Cutlass, with news of the upcoming paint job, they will miss a few Cruise-In's while it is down. Duke's son was out to see if his dad's show was still in operation. Good seeing him out tonight. Al chugged his Model A into the parking lot at about 6:30. Then just after 7:00 George in his black Falcon arrived.

We were ready to get things underway for the drawings and Mark and Beau showed up in their '31 Ford Model A Hot Rod. It has been in the repair shop for just over a year and they just got it back today, They should be coming out again. Welcome back!

19 Cars were in attendance at one time or another tonight, nice turn out.

The lucky ticket for the $34 50/50 was held by me! Steve Butler, Cruiser #16. Yes, it will all go towards the newsletter.

Car 54 where are you? Bert & "Ernie" were drawn for the $70 Cruise-A-Matic, they were not out tonight. So next week we have $80 in the offering.

Ed & Sarah Malloy, Cruiser #134, in their "Shortbox Chevy Pickup went home as "Cruiser of the Week".

No Cruise-In next week, it is the 4th Of July! Have a great day with your family.
