April 4th
Well, I tell you, those that didn't make
it out tonight sure missed a beautiful night for a Cruise-In. There were
17 that did make it to the "Square". Poor Ron, still no friends, they
all sold their cars and can't find Don. That's O.K. Ron we still want
you to come out! Any way after Linda & I arrived in the Corvair, that is
sporting new tail lights and tucked up exhaust, the '58 DeSoto arrived
with Paul at the wheel, then Louie in his '52 Ford backed into his
favorite spot. Bill rolled his Blazer in followed by Ron in the Caddy.
Dan was out in his '41 Willys pickup. "Jumper Clip", Dick was out in the
white 2+2 Mustang, parked next to him was Jim in the GTO. Roger K was in
his daily driver. Bob was in his '40 Buick Coupe, "Big John" stopped by
sans Cruiser. John & Sandy, last week in Florida, parked next to him in
their '56 Ford. Bert & "Ernie" were in the F150. Later the "Wookie"
would lead Andy in his Caddy and Steve in his Caddy into the "Square".
Al would chug his Model A into a spot between Jim's GTO and our Corvair.
Promptly at 7:15 George arrived in his '61 Falcon.
Louie's '52 Ford was wearing it's "New
Tag" tonight. A Vintage 1952 Florida license plate. He just got it back
from the state "Resurrected". Look's good Louie.
Al Wendling, Cruiser #89, had the correct
ticket to win the $32 50/50. He donated some of it back to the
Cruise-In. Thank You.
John & Shirley Crawford, Cruiser #82,
weren't out so the "Cruise-A-Matic" rolls up to $20 next week.
"Cruiser of the Week" went home in
John & Sandy Foster's, Cruiser #312, '56 Ford.
As usual we were made to feel like
guests by the Robertson's and the staff at "Bites". Thank you for having
us out again.
On to a few photos.....
