"Duke" Davis' Wednesday Nite Cruise-In
Brought to you by Saint Cloud "Bites"
at "Magnolia Square"

East Highway 192
Saint Cloud, Florida

In Memory of C. "Duke" Davis

April 11th

The Weatherman said we had a 50% chance of rain tonight. Well, we sure didn't see any at the Cruise-In tonight. The night started off very slow, Paul was the first Cruiser to arrive, Tommy went off and got married he said. Not a word was said last week but you sure could tell it was going to happen. We might see him for a little bit next week, maybe, off honeymooning this week. Congratulations to you and Mary.

Bill was the next to arrive in his Blazer, Don M was out in his daily driver, Dick rolled his Mustang 2+ 2 into the lot followed by Ron in his Caddy convertible. He said we might not see Roy, his wife Judy, was having some stints put in. Steve & Charlie parked the '55 deVille next to him, Kevin, who sold his Mustang some time ago, was out in his daily driver with news of a possible '69 VW Micro Bus that he may acquire as his new cruiser, Louie in his '52 Ford next to them. Bert & "Ernie" were in their Probe. It wasn't until much later that Andy turned his deVille into the parking lot followed by the "Wookie" in his Expedition. Where's that Buick? It looks like Roger, out in his daily driver, is still filling in as Ron's friend, no word on Don since he sold his Mustangs. Then Al chugged the Model A in to a parking spot next to our Corvair. Mark & Carol arrived in the '62 Impala. Roy did make it out in his daily driver and had good news about the procedures Judy had done today, she is doing very good. "Armadillo Red" stopped in, with his '79 El Camino, just after George steered his Falcon to the West of the parking lot.

It was a small crowd and as always a good time had at the "Square".

The 50/50 of $30 was awarded to George Crofut, the holder of the winning ticket, again, man, is he lucky! He donated $5 to this newsletter, Thank You.

The "Cruise-A-Matic" would have gone home with Chris Guglich, #95, if she would have been out tonight, Awww. So next week it will be $30.

"Cruiser of the Week" went home with George Crofut, #208, in his '61 Falcon.

As usual we were made to feel like guests by the Robertson's and the staff at "Bites". Thank you for having us out again.

BTW: "Happy Hour" at the Crush, 5:00 to 7:00 seven days a week.

On to a few photos..... after this.
