"Duke" Davis' Wednesday Nite Cruise-In
Brought to you by Saint Cloud "Bites"
at "Magnolia Square"

East Highway 192
Saint Cloud, Florida

In Memory of C. "Duke" Davis

March 28th

Being the first to arrive at the "Square" parked in our favorite spot just after 4:00.  Jack was the first to arrive in his '29 Ford Model A Sports Coupe. Then Paul in his DeSoto. "Mustang" mike brought the DJ rig at 4:30 and started to set up. Tommy & Mary arrived in his '66 GMC. Dan Z was the next to cruise in tonight with his '41 Willys Coupe, he's been neglecting it a bit lately, so tonight was its night. Bill didn't have to work tonight so he was out in his Blazer. Louie parked his '52 Ford in the spot in front of the trailer. Then Dick in his Mustang parked near the end. Ron A, in the Caddy took his usual Spot. Nick & Francine in the recently "Super Charged" big block '32 5 Window Coupe were next to park to the West of the DJ rig. Then Bob, in his Chevelle, parked next to them. Ralph & Ulla came out in their daily driver. Bob was out in his '40 Buick tonight, haven't seen that one in a while. Ron S, on his motorcycle, stopped by for a bit. Jim in that great looking '67 GTO parked next to Bob's Buick. Roy, that came out in a daily driver, sold his '56 Chevy to John F, anyone up to date on what he has now? Don R sold his red 2+2 Mustang at Daytona over the weekend and didn't come out tonight. Bert & Ernie were in the Probe. Larry had his '48 Chevy. Andy, Steve & Charlie and the "Wookie" all rolled in about the same time. Mark R had his '62 Chevy Impala out in the daylight. Jimmy B is hot on the trail of a Mustang and stopped by for a while. Last but not least, George arrived in his '61 Falcon just about 7:15, as usual.

Tommy & Mary are in the process of consolidation along with his move to the Jacksonville area, Old Number 1, Tommy will be missed at our regular Cruise-In's. Bob was suffering a from a bit of a "Poached" forearm. After test piloting Nick's Street Rod, the upper radiator hose decided to let loose and scald the nearby test pilot. Painful but he was Cruising and in good sprits.

The 29 Cruisers in 22 cars brought the 50/50 to $37, you guessed it, George Crofut, #208 had the winning ticket. He donated $2 to the newsletter. Cruiser #5, Steve Clarke was chosen for the "Cruise-A-Matic" that was $30 tonight, he donated $10 to the newsletter, Thank you both very much.

"Cruiser of the Week" went to Cruiser #1, Tommy Slaughter in his '66 GMC pickup.

On to a few photos..... after this.
