February 14th
After more thunderstorms yesterday and
with the approaching Cold Fronts, we couldn't have asked for a day that
was too much nicer. Well, OK it was very windy and Linda & I could tell
that it was going to get cold once the Sun went down. This didn't stop
Paul, Larry, Nick & Fran, Ron, Bill, Ron H, Don, Bob, Roy, Mark in a
daily driver, Dick, Jim, Louie, Gary & Wanda, Bert & Ernie, Al, Steve &
Charlie, the "Wookie", Paul & Betty and of course last to arrive George.
As always this Cruise is a good one for all to get to know one another.
Tonight we did have several spectators come in to the lot. We all kept
the staff at "Bites" busy, even ran them out of their Potato Soup.
Ron Hood came out in
his Model A, he just finished putting on the 2 new front fenders that he
picked up a few weeks ago. Looks great!. Bert & Ernie made it out in
their '95 Flare Side Ford pickup, this is what their Caddy turned into.
Mike mentioned he and
the "Dukes" are going to be at "Lenny's" Monday nite. Gary & Wanda
hope to see all of you at the "Cut for the Cure" on the 25th. It sure
started to get cold about 7:00.
The 50/50 of $60 was
taken home by Paul Schwartz, #43. He donated some to this newsletter.
Thank You, every little bit helps.
"Cruiser of the Week" went home in a 1930 Ford Tudor with Cruiser #89,
Al & Aggie Wendling.
Congratulations to
Amanda Spence, niece of Mike & Annette, Cruiser #145, chosen as this
years Miss Silver Spurs.
On to a few photos.....
after this.
