January 17th
I guess it was the gray skies that kept
most away. Linda & I were there before 4:00. We had granddaughter Alexis
with us, we had to pick her up from school. Dana came in shortly after.
Mike rolled in with the trailer just about 4:15. Bill was the next
cruiser to come in with a car. Don, in his Mustang parked near the
trailer. Larry parked next to us in his '70 Chevy "Short Box". Tonight
we even had the entire parking lot cleared for Cruisers by 5:00, might
have been a good Cruise-In. We went in to eat. It was a long while
before Ron in the Caddy came out. Gary & Wanda pulled in just before
6:00. By 6:15 there were only 6 cars so it seemed with the gray skies
and the very cold breeze that maybe this would be it. Not enough cars to
make any drawings worth while. Mike called the Cruise-In then. Just as
we were leaving Fred, our regular spectator stopped in. He is going back
North tomorrow and wanted to say so long till March. Louie arrived in
his daily driver as we were pulling out.
I did get a few calls from people around 7:00 asking why we weren't
there. Well, the Cruise-In does start at 5:00 most should show up by
6:00. I guess it wasn't in the cards for tonight. No 50/50 - No "Cruiser
of the Week" - No "Cruise-A-Matic".
Thank You to those that came out.
Here are a few photos.

See you all "Out There".
