January 10th
Am I in Florida? It was above average
temperatures last week this week it is a little below this week, ah,
just wait a minute.... hmmmmm 55 degrees by Cruise time. It had been
near 70 degrees a little earlier. I hate to sound like a weatherman, I
might as well be, I am almost as accurate. Anyway, back to the "Square.
Linda & I arrived at 4:15, no sign of any
other Cruisers when we pulled in to the lot. "Mustang Mike" rolled in
shortly after and set up. Bill came in his Blazer a few minutes later.
It was a long time before anyone else ventured out. Ron in the '61 Caddy
parked up next to the trailer, Ron in his '53 Chevy parked next to us.
"Big John" came in for a quick visit in his Pickup. Fred, our annual
spectator from Michigan came out. Just before we all went in to
huddle in the heat of "Bites" the "Mustang Twins" came out in both cars.
While inside the Yellow '77 Caddy with Steve & Charlie followed the
"Wookie" in his Mustang. Louie
parked his '52 Ford next to the Yellow Caddy. Andy came out in his
deVille, Bert & Ernie were out in their Probe. Bob had his Orange
Chevelle SS parked next to Bill. Al was in his Model A, George in the
Falcon and last but not least, Bob, in his '41 Buick parked next to
Louie. 16 Cars in all braved the cold to make it to the "Square". This
brought the 50/50 up to $36.
The staff at "Bites" are getting very used
to us by now, they even know not to have a pickle anywhere near Linda's
sandwich. Chris and the Robertson family always make us feel very
welcome on a Wednesday Nite.
The 50/50 went home with Bill Khoenle. The
"Cruise-A-Matic" rolls up to $30 next week, Cruiser #163, Tony & Sharon
DeBlasio, were not out tonight.
"Cruiser of the Week" went home in Gary &
Wanda Thompson's '55 Chevy, "Remember When".
Congratulations to the winners, Thank you
to the Robertson family and all that came out tonight.
Here are a few photos.

See you all "Out There"
