Nature Coast Corvairs at
the Villages
9-16
After not having anyone contact me to go to
the 911 car show in Orlando, going to the Nature Coast Corvair cruise in
up in the villages seemed like a good alternative. Everyone was e-mailed
of the event, but it seems only Carl
Barret with his 65 Cobra is the only one that received the e-mail, or at
least the only one that chose to respond. Makes me wonder if anyone
actually reads their newsletter, or ever checks their e-mail.
The afternoon started out with Ed and Evelyn, Steve and Cheryl, Tom and
Edna, Carl, Gary and Wanda, Jeff and Tara, and Sharon and I all meeting
at the St. Cloud Wal-Mart. Sadly, Steve and Cheryl didn't get to go with
us, as their Ranchero had a little problem, it didn't want to go
anywhere!!! ( Steve was able to get it back to his house ok) The trip up
was nice, and we were met (as always) by the Nature Coast Club, and took
our spots on the street, with some VERY nice cars!!!! Gary and Wanda
brought home a people's choice trophy, Gary had "Remember When" looking
better than ever.
All in all it was a very nice event, the ride home in the evening was
great in the cool air.
Next Week is our trip to the Lakeridge Winery (at least for those of us
that read the newsletter and check their e-mail). Details will be
provided to those who respond, hope it's you!!!
