Today it was a 160 Mile trip to make it to our favorite spot for a Saturday Nite, a group from FACACA went in caravan to the 31st Annual Indian River Car show in conjunction with the Indian River Festival in Titusville Florida but that is another story.

Here it is 1:30AM on Sunday and I am just getting to this story, I had the flag winners up at 9:30 but I had to finish the mornings write up first. Because we arrived so late we did not have time to get around like we usually do, we did get the newsletters delivered, we would have like to stay for the "Cruisers Appreciation" Concert at "Sun on the Beach" with "Rockin' Robin" and the "Shirells". I had not seen them since the days of "Wolfman Jack's" or "Little Darlin's". The day was just too long.

It was good news about the Oil giveaway to the Checkered flag winners. NAPA is now sponsoring the eight cases of every week. So back in place of the temporary "Cruiser Cash" we get Oil again. Several regulars were out with "Grandkid" duty, some in their Cruisers, others just out for a night at Old Town. Tom & Edna were out with a daughter and Son In-Law from out of town. "Big Jim" & Norma were entertaining family all week and missed out on the other Cruises, so they just had to bring out the Grandkids for a night on the Town, Old Town style.

"Our Gang" after arriving much later than usual, minus a few that already had a full day in Titusville, went over to "Flippers" for a late meal. Brandy took good care of us as usual. We didn't even get the chance to get over to see "The Dukes" on the corner by the A&W but we did see Jim on his way in.

Even with all of the events going on in Central Florida and the East Coast, 185 Cruisers made it to the "Bick's" at 8:32PM
