Wolfman was back tonight and he arrived a little before us. Then Stan and Tom ,
and by 5 o'clock we had a full line of early bird cruisers waiting to get on the
streets of Old-Town. Again we went to the steak house on the corner. (Burger
King.) Ralph and Shirley joined us there along with Stan and
Maryann. We were glad we did not have to clean lovebugs off our cruiser tonight.
We hope they are gone for now. Greg Jones was out tonight with his Gremlin, he
has not been out for awhile and it was good seeing him. Also he
got lucky and won a flag. Dave Skord missed a few weeks because of work but he
found time to cruise with us tonight. Also Ken and Wanda along with Gregg and
Emma were back with us to cruise. We hope they make it more often. Dave and Bev
came up from Auburndale with his Chevy Silverado pick-up truck. Bev has been up
North and came straight to Old-Town from the airport. It is good to cruise with
them again. He got lucky and won a $10.00 gift certificate to Fred Marion's
Sport Grill. We really appreciate all these sponsors who donate all these prizes
to our cruisers.Ken Keel from Haines City who was ailing tonight, did not cruise
but came out to visit for awhile. All in all we had 123 beautiful cruisers with
us tonight. Good turn out for Friday night. We welcome Gerald (Mr. Pontiac) as
our cruiser of the month for October. Cube was on stage tonight for our
listening entertainment.
Our 50/50 was $56.00. John Osceola was the lucky winner tonight. He resides in
Davenport. The Cruise-O-Matic still stands at $50.00. No winner tonight. Next
week it will be $75.00.
See you all next week.
