Another beautiful evening for a Friday Night Cruise. The weather is cooler and
the lovebugs are about gone. We had 135 beautiful cruisers for the spectators to
enjoy, and we had a very good crowd of them. No matter what their taste in
cruisers are, we had a wide variety of vehicles for them to view. It was Friday
the 13th but everything ran safe and smooth, thanks to our devoted staff. We
welcome the new members to our staff , they are learning fast and we think they
will be an asset to our cruise. After our evening meal at the steak house with
Stan and Maryann we wandered out to look over the cruisers. We found a very nice
92 Camaro T-Top. Luis Perez from Patterson, N.J. but now living in Florida is
the proud owner of this cruiser. He hopes to become a regular Friday Night
Cruiser. Also Anibal Feliciano brought his beautiful 4 door 1979 Chevy Caprice
Classic, they reside in Brandon, Fl. Doug was back with his yellow T-Bird. Work
keeps him away a lot. Ken and Wanda were out with their pace car to cruise
tonight. Alan was out with his 73 Stingray. We also had a chat with Jason Wilson
from Pine Hills. He had a beautiful 1988 Rolls Royce with him tonight,
but he has a number of vehicles he calls toys to chose from. These are just a
few of the fine cars we had tonight Bobby was out with his Cougar and we had
good news from him. He had a cataract removed on Monday and everything went
well. He is planning to have the other eye done in the near future. We hope you
the best of luck and God Bless You. Bobby is out every Friday night if he can
make it. He will also be our Cruiser of the Month for November. Ike and Nancy
also were out with their corvette. Good to see them again. Our 50/50 was changed
a little tonight..
All tickets were $1.00 each. Sounds like a good idea to us. It was $46.00
tonight and went to Jean, from Boston, Ma. She was also celebrating her
birthday. Congratulations Jean on both occasions.
Our Cruise-O-Matic of $75.00 will go to $100.00 next week. Joe pulled 6 numbers
but no takers. Joe said, if Richard was calling the numbers, he would probably
give it away, but that's another story.
